🇺🇸🇫🇷 French President Emmanuel Macron and US President Joe Biden will speak over the phone in the coming days, the French government spokesman, Gabriel Attal, said Sunday.

🌧Tropical Storm Peter has formed in the Atlantic Ocean, the United States' National Hurricane Center said on Sunday.

According to the NHC, the storm is moving north-west at a speed of 15 miles per hour, packing gale winds of up to 40 miles per hour.

"Rainfall around the southern periphery of Tropical Storm Peter may lead to areas of urban and small stream flooding from late Sunday into Tuesday across Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the Northern Leeward Islands," the agency said.

The US has moved dozens of Daesh* prisoners detained by America's Syrian Kurdish allies in Qamishli, north-eastern Syria to one of its illegal bases in another part of the country.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, two US transport helicopters containing about 60 Daesh fighters, recently landed in the town of Al-Shaddadah, Hasakah governorate, close to an illegal US base in the area. The freed militants are said to include high-ranking Daesh officials, including leaders of the police, education and prisons departments in the former caliphate.

The terrorists were reportedly given COVID-19 vaccines, and the majority of the militants hold Iraqi, Saudi or Tunisian passports.

⚡️Several injured as military plane crashes in Lake Worth, Texas, 'heavily damaging two homes'

A military training plane crashed in a residential area of Lake Worth, Texas, on Sunday, leaving at least two homes in the town "heavily damaged" and at least two people injured. It is not yet clear whether the plane came from the Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base military facility which is nearby.

According to MedStar media outlet, one of the injured is in critical condition and was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, and the second person was taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.

The reason for the crash is as yet unknown and an investigation is underway.
