Thousands of Hunter Biden's 'laptop from hell' photos laid bare online

BidenLaptopMedia.com, a website founded by former White House aide Garret Ziegler, plans to publish thousands of photos from Hunter Biden's laptop spanning 2008 to 2019. Ziegler claims that the photos were thoroughly reviewed and will provide an authentic portrayal of the Bidens, including both positive and negative images.

While personal information and some explicit content have been redacted, Ziegler emphasizes that the purpose is to provide truth and transparency, denying any political bias or intention to conduct a "hit job."

The laptop's story emerged before the 2020 US presidential election, containing information and images allegedly shedding light on Hunter Biden's activities and raising concerns about the Biden family.

US 'falling behind' on life expectancy since 1950s

A recent academic paper noscriptd "Falling Behind: The Growing Gap in Life Expectancy Between the United States and Other Countries, 1933–2021" sheds light on the long-standing trend of declining life expectancy in the US.

The study reveals that the problem dates back to the middle of the last century when the US began to lose ground to other industrializing nations.

Despite early advancements in medical technology, the US fell from its highest ranking among world powers in the 1950s to a middling position today, lagging behind many other countries.

The causes of the decline are not specifically identified in the report, but trends such as drug overdose deaths and suicide rates have been observed. The study also highlights regional disparities within the US, with states in the northeast and west experiencing faster growth in life expectancy compared to the south, central, and midwestern states.

Republican Congress Leader McCarthy strengthens position with debt ceiling deal

McCarthy and President Joe Biden reached a last-minute deal on cutting federal spending in certain areas, despite opposition from hard-line Republicans and the left-wing fringe of the Democrat House minority. The bill is expected to pass the Senate easily, showcasing Biden's ability to make bipartisan deals and highlighting the need for Republicans to reach out and collaborate on future initiatives.

Wealth manager Aquiles Larrea emphasized the importance of accepting the outcome and avoiding a government default, as it would have severe consequences for loan repayments, public employees' wages, and welfare checks. Larrea urged both sides to recognize the inevitability of the deal and cautioned against political suicide. He highlighted the upcoming elections and the Republicans' desire to be seen as a party for everyone, urging them to seek bipartisan solutions and avoid a losing proposition.

Eastern Europe faces deep economic 'scarring,' high inflation, weak growth – IMF

Eastern and Southeastern Europe are experiencing significant economic challenges, including deep economic "scarring" and high inflation, according to the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva.

At a conference in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Georgieva noted that the region's growth is affected by this economic scarring, resulting in a 3.5% lower outlook for 2024 compared to pre-pandemic expectations. High inflation and weak growth persist as major obstacles, with inflation projected to remain above central bank targets beyond 2024.

Georgieva emphasized the importance of reducing inflation while supporting recovery and laying the groundwork for future growth, requiring coordinated monetary, fiscal, and structural policies.

She also urged central banks to maintain a tight monetary policy and did not rule out further tightening if inflation remains stubborn.
