Russia called on UN to prevent Ukrainian provocation at Kakhovka HPP last year
▪️On October 21, 2022, Vassily Nebenzia, Russia's permanent representative to the UN, announced that the Russian side intended to call on the UN leadership to prevent "this monstrous provocation." He pointed out that most of the rockets hitting the territory of Novaya Kakhovka and the city’s hydroelectric power plant were US-made HIMARS. At the same time, the Kiev regime was aiming them specifically at the Kakhovka dam in order to break through it and cause flooding.

US, EU envoys tell Kosovo to immediately deescalate tensions after clashes with Serbs
"We are deeply concerned about the situation in the north and call for immediate de-escalation on the ground, early elections with the participation of Kosovo Serbs and return to Dialogue on normalisation," EU special envoy for Belgrade-Pristina talks Miroslav Lajcak tweeted.
On May 29, clashes erupted after Kosovo police forcefully installed new ethnic Albanian mayors in offices in several cities in the north following municipal elections in April.
The polls were boycotted by the Serbian community but declared valid despite a turnout of just 3.5%. More than 50 Serbian protesters and at least 30 NATO peacekeeping troops were injured in the clashes. The protests continue, as of this Tuesday.

Former UN weapons inspector and US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter says there’s another compelling reason: a bid to attract fresh sympathy for Kiev from the West and cure the United States and its allies of growing “Ukraine fatigue” against the backdrop of Kiev’s failing counteroffensive, and the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius next month.
“The objective here is to create a source of international controversy,” Ritter told Sputnik.
“The United States and Europe – the collective West, have shown a propensity to accept at face value anything the Ukrainian government says regarding allegations against Russia even though there’s no evidence to back it up,” Ritter said.
