Escalation of hostilities 'in UK interests' as London sends drones to Ukraine

The UK Ministry of Defense released a video showcasing drones on Twitter, featuring medium-sized drones with anti-submarine capabilities and a versatile reconnaissance drone.

Military historian Yuri Knutov believes that the UK's timing of this announcement is strategic, coinciding with the weakening of the Kiev regime’s forces.

According to Knutov, Ukrainian troops have struggled to achieve their objectives, failing to deliver a lightning strike and unable to cut off land supply routes to Crimea. Instead, they are currently engaged in fighting for advance strongholds.

Zelensky spouts lies to Americans, claiming Ukraine was ‘not planning to attack Russia’

A US report highlights that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky lied when he claimed that Ukraine had no plans to attack Russia during his media tour of the United States.

The report states that there is now undeniable evidence that Ukraine has been carrying out aggressive attacks on Russian territories, including cross-border raids, drone strikes, and attacks on civilian infrastructure. Ukraine has been supported with significant military assistance from the US and NATO allies, fueling the escalation.

The report criticizes the mainstream US media for downplaying these developments and failing to scrutinize the US government's false claims.

The report emphasizes that the US government consistently presents false information to maintain a war policy that diverges greatly from its initial presentation.

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has launched a counter-offensive against MPs who found him in contempt of Parliament over after-hours parties at Downing Street

Johnson accused the Parliamentary Standards Committee, particularly chairwoman Harriet Harman, of bias and linked the inquiry to the Brexit issue. He also accused Conservative MP Sir Bernard Jenkin of hypocrisy for attending a birthday party at the House of Commons.

Johnson's response came as the committee released its report, which accused him of deliberately misleading Parliament and stated that he would have faced a 90-day suspension if he had not already announced his resignation as an MP.

The committee's report highlighted various incidents, including surprise birthday parties and farewell gatherings for departing staff, where Johnson defended their legality and necessity. He emphasized that the Metropolitan Police had investigated his role and found no unlawfulness.

🇺🇸 US may become isolated if it focus solely on American interests, Kissinger says

💬 "In the present period, the debate had shifted to extremes in which there is an extreme theory of America first, which is applied on both sides, but in such a way that it focuses too much on American interests and not on global interests," former US Secretary of State and prominent geopolitical figure Henry Kissinger said in an exclusive interview with Bloomberg.

Touching on US-China tensions over Taiwan, Kissinger warned that a military conflict is a probability given the current direction of the bilateral relationship.

He added that it is presently up to both sides to step back from "the top of a precipice."

🇯🇵 Japan's opposition submits draft resolution of no confidence in cabinet

The opposition cited rising prices, scandals related to the government's active implementation of a personal number system, which stipulates gathering information on health care and taxation, and a law passed by the ruling coalition in the morning to secure funding for increased military spending as reasons for the resolution.

If the resolution passes within ten days, the government must either resign or the prime minister must announce the dissolution of parliament and call new elections. However, such a course of events is ruled out as the ruling coalition has a majority in the lower house, and the resolution is guaranteed not to be passed, Japanese media reported.

Moscow will return to investigating Nord Stream sabotage after UN halt

Russia’s senior diplomat to UN Dmitriy Polyansky said that the topic "predictably remains uncomfortable for Westerners," and they are clearly nervous about answering Russia's questions.

💬 "Apparently, understanding of our position is growing, which already obscenely isolates Westerners in the eyes of most UN members," he added.

Western representatives at the UN Security Council are urging Denmark, Germany and Sweden not to rush their national investigations, the official said, adding that the US and their allies have yet to provide convincing evidence and facts of their non-involvement in the sabotage.
