😡 Parents and officials at a Missouri school have been angered by a "racist" petition calling for slavery to be brought back to the US.

The petition was launched by some pupils at Park Hill South High School in Riverside last week, but didn’t attract much attention as many initially considered it a joke.

Later, media reported leaked screenshots of comments on the petition which read “I hate blacks” and “I love slavery”.

Officials from Park Hill School District have reportedly only said that there was a so-called "discipline incident", whereas other officials hinted at racism possibly being a motivating factor.

NY Governor Kathy Hochul threatened to replace unvaccinated hospital workers with foreign nationals.

On Thursday Governor Kathy Hochul announced that she was looking to award temporary visas for foreign nationals as a means of replacing those healthcare workers who, by September 27, remain unvaccinated, when the mandate takes effect.

🗣 “This is a conversation we have already been having – to talk about the opportunities we might have in freeing up the visa system to have some temporary workers come from places like the Philippines, where many nurses go elsewhere. […] It is going to be a Dept. of State process. This will not help in the next couple of days.”

“Tax hypocrisy”: Joe Biden reportedly avoided paying Medicare taxes before he took office and could owe the IRS as much as $500,000, according to a new non-partisan report.

🗣"Biden wants to raise taxes by $2.1 trillion so that the the rich can pay their "fair share." But in 2017, the multi-millionaire politician skirted payroll taxes — the very taxes that fund Medicare and Obamacare," said GOP Rep. Jim Banks, chairman of the conservative Republican Study Committee.

Mexican National Guard units had the migrants blocked in and wouldn’t let them out. Only a few were able to make it across the river but authorities sealed off points along the river after one group made it across on Thursday afternoon.
