Germany does not agree with the EU's plan to use frozen assets from the Bank of Russia for Ukraine's reconstruction, citing concerns over legal and financial challenges.

Some German officials believe the plan lacks support and could face obstacles.

The EU aims to raise up to €3 billion annually from Russian central bank assets, while Ukraine explores alternative ways to use the seized assets. The matter will be discussed by EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg.

Similarly, when asked about Donald Trump's mental and physical health, 55% of respondents expressed concerns, including 44% with major concerns. The poll reveals that 58% are uneasy about Trump potentially winning the 2024 election, with 51% having major concerns.

Previous surveys have also highlighted doubts among US voters regarding Biden's ability to fulfill his duties.

▪️US Ambassador expressed hope that Russian nuclear weapons "will be fine", conveyed that the United States "has nothing to do with it»;

▪️Russia's foreign minister has also commented on Emmanuel Macron’s words about Prigozhin’s aborted mutiny plot: Paris saw a chance for the West to defeat Russia;

▪️A failed insurgency would not create difficulties for Russia's relations with its friends, it is not concerned about the others;

▪️Russia's intelligence agencies are already sorting out whether Western intelligence services were involved in the June 24 situation;

Terrorists are being trained in Western countries to stage an armed invasion of Belarus, Belarusian intelligence says.

“Fugitive terrorists and the collective West standing behind them have no chance. We have sufficient capabilities to duly neutralize the [terror] threat,” Belarusian State Security Committee official Bychek said.

The training of terrorists is carried out on the basis of foreign special forces, including the GROM Military Unit in Poland, the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union, and the Security Service of Ukraine.

▪️ The Ukrainian Armed Forces have continued their attempts to conduct offensive operations in in the zone of the special military op during the previous 24 hours. Two enemy attacks have been successfully repelled due to the skillful and committed actions of the Russian Armed Forces. Up to 195 Ukrainian troops, two armored fighting vehicles, six motor vehicles, as well as two American-made Paladin self-propelled artillery units have been eliminated during the day.

▪️ Russia’s aviation, artillery, and heavy flamethrower systems inflicted losses on the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the LPR and DPR. Two sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been eliminated in the LPR. The Ukrainians have lost 9 troops, three armored fighting vehicles, five pick-up trucks, one Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, and one D-30 howitzer in this are in the past 24 hours.

The Russian MoD’s latest statements on the Ukraine crisis (Part 2/2) :

▪️ Russia’s artillery and heavy flamethrower systems have repelled four enemy attacks in the DPR. The total losses of the enemy during the day amounted to over 150 Ukrainian servicemen, three armored fighting vehicles, two pick-up trucks, and one Msta-B and one D-20 howitzers.

▪️ Operational-Tactical and Army aviation and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces launched strikes at enemy manpower and hardware in Kharkov region and the LPR. The enemy's losses during the day amounted to over 30 Ukrainian troops, two motor vehicles, and two Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery systems.

▪️ Up to 35 Ukrainian servicemen, three motor vehicles, and two Msta-B howitzers have been neutralized by fire in Kherson region.

Germany is ready to permanently deploy a combat-ready brigade in Lithuania to reinforce NATO's eastern flank, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said on Monday.

On Sunday, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda urged NATO to strengthen the eastern flank, citing risks associated with Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin's relocation to Belarus, per his agreement with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

"Germany is ready to deploy a combat-ready brigade in Lithuania on a permanent basis," Pistorius said at a press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart, Arvydas Anusauskas, in Vilnius.
