🇲🇽 Several hundred migrants, mostly Haitian, took shelter at a makeshift camp at a local park on the Rio Grande river in Ciudad Acuña, Mexico.

Mexican National Guard units had the migrants blocked in and wouldn’t let them out. Only a few were able to make it across the river but authorities sealed off points along the river after one group made it across on Thursday afternoon.

AOC was accused of shedding "crocodile tears" after she broke down crying on the House floor following a vote to give another $1 billion to Israel in order to fund its Iron Dome missile interception system.

The tears immediately drew criticism from Republicans, with former Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel, who suggested the reason behind Ocasio-Cortez's emotional reaction, tweeting: "Why is AOC crying? Because Jewish and Christian women and children won't shake in terror as unguided rockets rain down on their homes and schools".

A tremor with a magnitude of 6.3 hit 184 kilometres (around 114 miles) from the city of Adak, Alaska, the USGS said.

The epicentre of the quake was located at a depth of 50 kilometres, according to the agency.

The animal fell to the ground, but got up some time later and was treated by a veterinarian.
