🇷🇺 A "destabilization attempt" in Russia on June 23-25 failed due to the loyalty to the oath and military duty of the personnel of the Russian Armed Forces, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said while commenting on Wagner's aborted mutiny.

Firefighter dies in Paris suburb while extinguishing burning cars

"A young 24-years-old Corporal-Chief of the Paris Fire Brigade died last night while fighting a fire from several vehicles in an underground parking lot in Saint-Denis, despite the very rapid care of his teammates," French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said Monday.

Media reported that vehicles were set on fire by participants in the ongoing riots that have continued for the sixth night in a row.

Chinese economic rebound might trigger upsurge in global energy prices

"In a scenario where the Chinese economy is very strong, buys a lot of energy from the markets, and we have a harsh winter, we may see strong upward pressure under natural gas prices, which in turn will put an extra burden on consumers," Turkish economist and head of the International Energy Agency Fatih Birol said.

Birol reportedly suggested that countries such as the UK should "continue to push measures to save energy” and consider "alternative energy options," adding that blackouts during the winter period may occur.
