🇭🇹 A massive migrant encampment in the Texas border town of Del Rio has been cleared out, according to reports.

But where did they go, as of the almost 15,000 migrants, only about 2,000 were flown back to Haiti.

According to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, about 5000 Haiti nationals are still being processed and the rest were either released into the US under the asylum process or returned to Mexico voluntarily.

🧐 The FBI is looking into an alleged attack on a female US military service member at the Fort Bliss Army Base.

Fort Bliss officials said earlier that the woman “reported being assaulted on Sept. 19 by a small group of male [Afghan] evacuees” at the base’s Dona Ana Complex in New Mexico.

The US Border Patrol and local authorities were able to pull off a great accomplishment evacuating more than 15,000 migrants, mostly Haitians, from under the Del Rio international bridge over the last eight days, Val Verde County Sheriff Joe Martinez told Sputnik.

On President Joe Biden's criticism of alleged mistreatment of migrants, the sheriff said it was "sad that one incident is going to distract from all the hard work."
