🇷🇺 Vladimir Putin: Ukrainian attempts to break through Russian defenses fail every time during special military op
💬 “All attempts by the enemy to break through our defenses - and this is a task which includes the use of strategic reserves - they have not been successful during the entire offensive. The enemy is not enjoying any successes,” the Russian president said, praising the Russian army's heroism.

🇷🇺 Russia could reverse engineer its trophy NATO weapons, Putin says
💬 “There’s the expression ‘reverse engineering’. We’ll see what happens, because modern equipment…we have it, and it’s very effective, let’s take the T-90 Proryv tank for example, which is the best tank in the world without any exaggeration. But the enemy also produces modern equipment. And if there’s an opportunity to look inside and see if there’s something there that we can use, well, why not?” Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Russian television.

🗣️ On NATO's move towards Asia-Pacific as a shift towards a confrontation with China:
“Asia is not part of the North Atlantic, this is one of the reasons why France, amongst other powers, has poured cold water on this idea of opening a NATO office in Japan, obviously meant to target the People's Republic of China... And I think what's happening is that NATO is in search of a mission because its escapade in Ukraine is collapsing,” Dr. Gerald Horne, a history professor at the University of Houston, TX, and author, told Sputnik.

🗣️ On reducing NATO’s influence on the ground in Ukraine:
“The ability of NATO to influence the situation on the ground in Ukraine is becoming weaker with each passing day, and therefore it's putting NATO in the position of having to potentially take positions and implement policies that could risk widening the war and going into direct conflict with Russia, which means a nuclear war,” Larry Johnson, former CIA and State Department analyst, told Sputnik.

🗣️ On Latin American leaders' ban of Ukrainian President Zelensky attending the EU-CELAC meeting:
“Part of the reason for this has been the suspicion, or at least the appearance, that with Spain inviting Zelensky representing Ukraine to this summit, that Latin America and the Caribbean would be in a de facto manner supporting Ukraine and/or overtly supporting NATO's and its expansion. And of course, there are a number of countries in Latin America and the Caribbean overtly opposed to one or both of those. So it was a success. They were successful in uninviting Zelensky, and he has then, Zelensky himself has since publicly stated in the international press that he will not be attending,” Teri Mattson, Latin America campaign coordinator for CODEPINK and podcast host for WTF is Going on in Latin America & the Caribbean, told Sputnik.
