🗣️ On the Prospects of the Ukrainian Counteroffensive:

“My own guess is that the Ukrainian offensive is going to sputter out fairly soon, some time over the next couple of weeks, in August or September, before the autumn rains come. And then we're going to have a pause. I think that there will not be much more military activity for a while, that will perhaps open some space for negotiations,” Alexander Mercouris, writer and international affairs analyst, host of The Duran on YouTube, told Sputnik.

The hackers were able to look through emails, internal documents and other information related to day-to-day operations of the foreign ministry thanks to a virus "probably accidentally" downloaded by a civil servant, sources were quoted as saying in a report by British media.

🇷🇺🎉 Russia celebrates Air Force Day

Saturday marks the 111th anniversary of the August 12, 1912 order establishing the Imperial Russian Air Service as a separate branch of the armed forces.

In the century-plus since, Russia’s air forces have faced multiple reorganizations, and been known by multiple names, from the Soviet Air Forces (1918-1991) to the Russian Air Force (1992) and finally the Russian Aerospace Forces (2015 on).

But throughout, its mission remained the same – to defend the nation’s airspace and provide ground support for the Army.
