203 mm 2S7M Malka self-propelled gun can easily destroy enemy vehicles, pillboxes, fortified positions and manpower concentration areas at a distance of up to 50 km.

2S7M Malka was created on the basis of 2S7 Pion system. The upgraded gun has increased rate of fire, reduced time of switching to a firing position, and, it has a new engine. The chassis and fire control system got an update too. All these features significantly improved the effectiveness of the system within the counter-battery warfare.

🇷🇺 Russia creates multipurpose naval drone based on Vizir-type platform

The boat's range will be up to 600 kilometres at a low speed, while at a high speed, its range will decrease; however, the vessel will be able to accelerate up to 80 kilometres per hour, Mikhail Danilenko, managing director of the KMZ group, told Sputnik at the Army-2023 forum.

The developer also presented hydrographic boat GRK 700 Vizir for coastal zone and seabed survey, and which can be used as a carrier of sonar equipment and echo sounder for surveying the area.

When used as a unmanned boat, it has a return-to-base algorithm built into it: the vessel has a full terrain positioning system. The Vizir can neutralize targets using rockets, large-caliber machine guns or electronic warfare systems, and deploy mesh against aircraft. At the same time, the vessel can also travel to within range of a target and launch its own drone.

This move is unlikely to affect the system of corruption that now thrives in Ukrainian military recruitment, Vladimir Yevseyev, a Russian military analyst from the Institute of CIS Countries, told Sputnik.

💬 “According to the available information, the money that flows into military recruitment centers [as bribes] get passed up the ladder, all the way to the president’s office,” Yevseyev said. “So this ‘pyramid’ is not going to be demolished – instead, certain people are simply going to be replaced.”
