📹 Senior Ukrainian Official Claims Indians and Chinese Have “Weak Intellectual Potential”

🗯 "What’s wrong with India, #China, and so forth. The problem is that they are not analysing the consequences of their steps, these countries have weak intellectual potential, unfortunately," said Ukrainian politician Mikhail Podolyak.

🇮🇳 This isn't the first time #Ukraine makes such offensive statements towards Indians. Previously, the Indian community was deeply insulted after Ukraine's Defense Ministry posted a controversial picture of Hindu Goddess Kali, which was widely deemed as outright blasphemy by many #Hindu devotees on Twitter.

🏫 On top of that, Indian students were facing challenges in universities after getting habitually bullied and urged to leave the country by local residents in Ukraine, Indian media reported.

🇺🇸🇨🇳 US railway plan in Middle East will be another case of 'much said, little done': Chinese experts

As the US announced its Middle East railway plan during the Group of 20 (G20) Summit over the weekend in India, Chinese experts expressed doubts about its credibility and feasibility, saying that it is not the first time for Washington to make empty pledges to various countries and regions.

The experts noted that the true purpose of the Biden administration is trying to "isolate China" in the Middle East, a region where Chinese cooperation with the region has constantly gained momentum in recent years.

🗣️ On the rising Global South challenging the US hegemony:

Any US proposal at this point that tries to curb the power of the Belt and Road Initiative and all of these other projects that China and its partners are doing is simply a fantasy. We've seen that with the expansion of BRICS, including the inclusion of Saudi Arabia, which historically has been such an important ally and strategic partner of the United States. The United States is failing to recognize that the world order is changing, that things are shifting to the east,Chris Helali, political analyst, researcher and independent investigative journalist, told Sputnik.

🗣️ On the West’s view of Ukraine as an appetizer before a conflict with China:

The West likes war, but only if it's winning. If it's not winning, it turns around and it becomes all of a sudden very, very reluctant to wage the war... They [the US] want to pull themselves out of the Ukraine tar baby and pivot to China. Remember, Ukraine and Russia, they were simply supposed to be the appetizer on the way to the main dish, which was really all about China. And then they realized that they were choking on the appetizer,KJ Noh, journalist and political analyst, told Sputnik.

💬"The Biden administration seems to be going through a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde-type phase when it comes to the nature of the weapons that it's willing to provide to Ukraine" Scott Ritter, a military analyst and former US Marine Corps intelligence officer, commented on reports that Biden administration will send ATACMS missiles to Ukraine.

"These weapons that are being provided are being provided to provide Ukraine with the potential of doing harm to Russia. The ATACMS missiles being provided, simply put, to strike the Crimea Bridge, to destroy that bridge, to enable Ukraine to strike targets deep in the Russian rear area - airfields, command posts, logistics. This is a dramatic escalation of the conflict," the analyst said.

He also opined that "Russia, a nation that has a history of absorbing 27 million dead in the cause of defeating fascism, defeating Nazism, isn't going to yield to any threats being made by the United States."

🇰🇵 Why does Kim Jong Un travel by train?

Kim Jong Un, the Supreme Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), is known for his distinctive approach to travel. Unlike many world leaders who rely on airplanes for international journeys, Kim Jong Un often opts for train travel.

In his train, the leader of the DPRK has a personal office, a conference room, two dining cars, and a carriage for staff. The train has bulletproof glass, and the walls and floor are protected by armor-plates, which is why the train cannot reach high speeds.

👉 Sputnik delves into why Kim Jong Un prefers trains, exploring the historical, security, and geopolitical factors influencing his transportation decisions

🗣️ On the Global South rejecting the ‘Zelenskyization’ of the world:

They wanted to have Ukraine dominate. And as I understand it, the word 'Russia' was not even included in the final statement. Certainly, ‘aggression’ wasn't in the final statement. There was no condemnation from the resolution... And so absolutely all of the talking points that Blinken and Jake Sullivan and all the rest of them were pushing were just simply not allowed. And I think you're right, we're seeing a continuation of this rejection of the 'Zelenskyization' of the world. And the Global South is just having none of it. The world has changed, and the US doesn't see it yet,Daniel McAdams, executive director of the 'Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, told Sputnik.
