🇰🇵 Why does Kim Jong Un travel by train?
Kim Jong Un, the Supreme Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), is known for his distinctive approach to travel. Unlike many world leaders who rely on airplanes for international journeys, Kim Jong Un often opts for train travel.
In his train, the leader of the DPRK has a personal office, a conference room, two dining cars, and a carriage for staff. The train has bulletproof glass, and the walls and floor are protected by armor-plates, which is why the train cannot reach high speeds.
👉 Sputnik delves into why Kim Jong Un prefers trains, exploring the historical, security, and geopolitical factors influencing his transportation decisions

🗣️ On the Global South rejecting the ‘Zelenskyization’ of the world:
“They wanted to have Ukraine dominate. And as I understand it, the word 'Russia' was not even included in the final statement. Certainly, ‘aggression’ wasn't in the final statement. There was no condemnation from the resolution... And so absolutely all of the talking points that Blinken and Jake Sullivan and all the rest of them were pushing were just simply not allowed. And I think you're right, we're seeing a continuation of this rejection of the 'Zelenskyization' of the world. And the Global South is just having none of it. The world has changed, and the US doesn't see it yet,” Daniel McAdams, executive director of the 'Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, told Sputnik.

🇷🇺⚔️ What does Putin mean by weapons based on 'new physical principles'?
💬"If one looks into the security sphere, weapons based on new physical principles will ensure the security of any country in the near historical perspective. We understand this very well and are working on it," Putin said in a wide-ranging speech at the Eastern Economic Forum on Tuesday.
The Russian Defense Ministry’s official online encyclopedia defines "weapons based on new physical principles" as "new types of arms whose destructive effect is based on processes and phenomena which have not previously been used for military purposes."
