When asked about cooperation with North Korea in space, Vladimir Putin emphasized that this is the very reason why they came to Vostochny Cosmodrome.

"The North Korean leadership is interested in rocket construction, they are also trying to develop space technologies," Putin said.

Referring to the issue of potential military-technical cooperation with North Korea, Vladimir Putin also said that "they will discuss all issues in no particular hurry" because "they have time".

The US Department of Defense has lied to Congress about its shady activities in Africa, Tunde Osazua, peace campaigner, told Sputnik

Osazua explained that General Michael Langley, commander of the US Africa Command, had briefed Congress on the military's facilities in Africa, including the 'enduring forward operating sites' at Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti and the Cat Hill air base on Ascension Island, the tiny British South Atlantic colony, along with 12 other "posture locations".
