❗️During Ukraine’s missile attack on Sevastopol, an American Boeing P-8A Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft of the U.S. Navy was located in the area of the Black Sea coast

Such vehicles are regularly deployed off the coast of Crimea, along with RQ-4 Global Hawk high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft and E-3A Sentry early warning aircraft of the US Air Force.

The same reconnaissance aircraft was noticed on September 19 and 21 over the Baltic Sea near Russia's Kaliningrad Region.

Upon receiving the coordinates of the enemy's concentration in one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strongholds from the forward gunners, the artillerymen swiftly proceeded (0:03) to secure a strategic combat position.

Having aimed the combat vehicle at the target, the military personnel discharged a salvo of 122 mm rockets (0:11), reaching an impressive distance of over 15 km. The targeting was checked (0:27) by military personnel from the group's reconnaissance unit using an unmanned aerial vehicle.

The Russian MoD has issued the following statements on the Ukraine crisis:

▪️The Russian Army destroyed two German-made Leopard tanks, three motor vehicles, and up to 20 Ukrainian troops in the Kupyansk direction.

▪️The Russian Armed Forces repelled four attacks launched by enemy assault groups in the DPR. The enemy's casualties included: 200 Ukrainian troops killed and injured, two infantry fighting vehicles, and three motor vehicles.

▪️The Russian Army repelled two Ukrainian attacks near Krasny Liman. 30 Ukrainian personnel, three armoured fighting vehicles, two pickup trucks, and two D-30 howitzers were eliminated.

▪️The Russian Armed Forces defeated a cluster of enemy manpower and hardware in the Zaporozhye region. Up to 20 Ukrainian personnel, two armored fighting vehicles, and two motor vehicles were destroyed.

▪️In the Kherson direction, up to 80 Ukrainian servicemen, seven motor vehicles, and one D-30 howitzer were neutralized during the day.

▪️Russia’s air defense systems intercepted 10 HIMARS MLRS projectiles during the day.

▪️Some 475 airplanes and 249 helicopters; 7,035 unmanned aerial vehicles; 438 air defense missile systems; 12,027 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles; 1,154 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS; 6,488 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 13,301 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.

The military assistance provided by the UK to Ukraine in the months that followed the escalation of the conflict in February 2022 might have included armored vehicles riddled with asbestos, a British newspaper has suggested

According to the media outlet, the UK Ministry of Defense admitted that some 2,699 pieces of military hardware owned by the British Army – including 324 “Challenger 2 tanks, versions of which were sent to Ukraine” – contained “potentially deadly asbestos containing materials.”

UK shadow defense secretary John Healey has described this development as “a serious concern,” complaining that the British Armed Forces “are forced to rely on aging and asbestos-riddled equipment.”

The four-day "Shield of the Union" exercises are held every other year and are hosted alternately by the two Union State countries. The concept of the drills is based on the analysis of potential threats to the military security of the two nations.

The "Shield of the Union-2023" military exercises started in Russia on September 22 and will last until September 26.

According to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, these drills are a milestone initiative in ensuring the military security of both Russia and Belarus.

Biden notified Zelensky that the US will transfer a small batch of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine, media reported

For months, Ukraine has asked for the Army Tactical Missile System, known as ATACMS, which would give Kiev the ability to strike targets from as far away as about 180 miles, hitting supply lines, railways, and command and control locations behind the Russian frontlines.

Defense officials have said the US does not have a large stockpile of excess ATACMS, which have a bigger payload than traditional artillery, to provide to Ukraine. The congressional official said there was still a debate about the type of missile that would be sent and how many would be delivered to Ukraine.

The armed formations of Karabakh have begun handing over weapons and military equipment under the control of Russian peacekeepers in pursuance of the agreements reached on the cessation of hostilities, the Russian MoD reported.

As of September 22, six units of armored vehicles, more than 800 units of small arms and anti-tank weapons, and about 5,000 rounds of ammunition were delivered.
