🇺🇸 US Air Force tested classified cruise missile fitted with mock nuke in 2022
The secretive missile is classified as a Long-Range Standoff (LRSO) missile and is designed to replace the aging AGM-86 which was first used in the 1980s. Designed and produced by Raytheon, the US Air Force conducted eight successful tests of the missile as it carried a mock version of a new nuclear warhead named W80-4.
Details about the missile are sparse but the Air Force describes it as a stealthy and long-range upgrade to the AGM-86. The W80-4 is an upgrade to the W80 nuclear warhead, which is being retrofitted to make it compatible with the new missile.

🇨🇦 Canadian authorities are "looking very carefully” into the Jules Deschenes Commission report, an independent inquiry from the Eighties that looked at Nazi war criminals in Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told Canadian media.
The second part of the report, which was never released to the public, contains the names of the alleged Nazis in Canada.
Human rights activists and Jewish groups called for the classified part to be released “so that Canadians can learn more about the country's shameful history of admitting an untold number of Nazi collaborators after the Second World War,” Canadian media reported.

🇷🇺⚓️ Russian Navy to create permanent base in Abkhazia
"We have signed an agreement, and in the nearest future a permanent base point for the Russian navy will be established in the Ochamchire region," Abkhazian President Aslan Bzhania told Russian newspaper, adding that this is aimed at enhancing the defense capacity of both Russia and Abkhazia. The corresponding cooperation will continue as security is claimed to be a priority.
Bzhania said that even though Abkhazia has already done a lot in terms of defense and military cooperation with Russia, much still lies ahead. Periodically, the countries carry out joint military training and cooperate on military and technical issues.
"Russia provides us with support, our specialists are constantly updating their qualifications in Russia's specialized institutions, that is why this question is never off the table", Bzhania added.

EXPOSED: A senior French military intelligence agent rubbed shoulders with foreign mercenaries in Ukraine two years before the conflict with Russia erupted, Sputnik has learned.
Sputnik has obtained exclusive documents that indicate Lieutenant-Colonel Arnaud Helly, of the French Directorate of Military Intelligence (DRM) and Directorate-General for External Security (DGSE), rented an apartment in central Kiev for 59 nights from January to March 2020.
France has been one of the key supporters of Ukraine in NATO's proxy conflict with Russia, donating dozens of self-propelled artillery guns, light tanks and other armored vehicles, surface-to-air and cruise missiles. But now evidence, seen by Sputnik, suggest that Paris had intelligence agents in Kiev in the run-up to the conflict.
