🇪🇸 Spain's private space company PLD Space said on Saturday it had successfully launched the country's first suborbital reusable rocket, Miura 1.

🗣 "The Spanish company PLD Space has made history after successfully completing the launch of the first private European rocket, MIURA 1. The maiden flight of its suborbital launcher showcases the advanced level of technology and know-how that has been developed by the company since 2011," the company said in a statement.

The flight lasted 306 seconds, during which the rocket reached an altitude of 46 kilometers (28.5 miles), according to the statement. The rocket landed in the Atlantic Ocean and will be recovered by the company.

❗️ At around 22.00 Moscow time, the Kiev regime tried to attack Crimea with an anti-aircraft missile of the S-200 air defense system, converted into a strike version, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Russian air defense forces detected and destroyed the missile in the air, the ministry added.

Erdogan received the votes of all 1,399 delegates of the fourth party congress, the report said. It is the eighth time Erdoğan has been elected as the leader since the foundation of the party.

The People's Alliance led by the Justice and Development Party won 323 out of 600 seats in the May 14 parliamentary elections. The party has been in power for over 20 years since November 3, 2022.

The 'Nakidka' consists of a multi-layer camouflage material that is applied to tanks as a cover. It reduces the visibility of combat vehicles in both infrared and radar range.

"In the course of special military operation, the 'Nakidka' camouflage has demonstrated its ability to deflect missiles from the US-made Javelin anti-tank missile complex. Since 'Nakidka' significantly reduces the thermal emissions of the tank and soothes out the so-called thermal contrast zones, it disrupts the target lock of the Javelin anti-tank missile, which relies on an infrared homing system," the agency's source said.

🇪🇸 Local authorities on the Spanish El Hierro island are decrying the lack of support and demanding urgent assistance.

Over the course of 48 hours, 1,200 individuals made their way to El Hierro, the smallest of the Canary Islands, known for its population of just 11,000.

"I have never seen a boat with so many people on board," acknowledged an ex-migration adviser for the Canary Islands regional government.

Only nine migrants had made it to the island by June 8. But the figure has now surged to 3,300 in the last few weeks.
