🇮🇱Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on British Sky News:

- And what about those Palestinians in hospital who are on life support, and babies and incubators whose life support and incubator will have to be turned off because the Israelis have cut the power to Gaza?

-Are you seriously keep on asking me about Palestinian civilians? What's what's wrong with you? Have you not seen what happened? We're fighting Nazis. We don't target them. Now the world can come and bring them anything they want. If you want to bring them electricity, I'm not going to feed electricity or water to my enemies. If anyone else wants, that's fine. We're not responsible for this.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 Two-state solution or one-state agreement: what are the options on Palestine’s path to statehood?

Hamas-led militants’ surprise offensive deep into Israeli-controlled territory around Gaza has again focused the world’s attention on the 75-year perpetual conflict between Israelis and Palestinians. Amid the crisis, it’s worth reexamining the history of the Palestinians’ quest for statehood, obstacles standing in the way, and options available.

Russia “has always advocated for the implementation of decisions of the United Nations Security Council, meaning, first and foremost, the creation of an independent Palestinian state. This is at the root of all problems,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an address at an energy forum in Moscow on Wednesday, touching on the escalating Israeli-Palestinian crisis.

Iran's FM Not Ruling Out Opening of New Fronts in Light of Israel's Actions

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Thursday that, in light of Israel's actions, the possibility of opening new fronts remains feasible.

The minister added that Iran continues to support "resistance forces" politically and through media and called the decision to cut off electricity and water supplies to the Gaza Strip a war crime.

Amir-Abdollahian also said Israel and "its sponsors" will be held accountable for the results of the aggression against Palestinians.

🇮🇱 A Jewish peace campaigner slams the media for amplifying pro-war propaganda

Fellowship of Reconciliation Executive Director Ariel Gold told Sputnik that reports and images of Israeli civilians killed by Hamas militants were a "gut punch" to her, as some of her relatives were victims of the German Holocaust of Jews and others during the Second World War. But she rejected comparisons between Hamas and the Nazis.

"I think those not only dehumanize Palestinians and distract from the current situation, which is very real on the ground, but also take away from that Jewish pain," Gold stressed.

She also cautioned that Israel's vow to invade Gaza and destroy Hamas would only take more innocent lives on both sides.

🇺🇸US House Drama Rages as Scalise Withdraws From Speakership Race

The US House of Representatives appears further away from electing a new speaker after Rep. Steve Scalise announced late Thursday he would be withdrawing from the race, just one day after being officially nominated by his party.

"I was very clear we have to have everybody put their agendas on the side and focus on what this country needs," Scalise told reporters. "But there's some folks that really need to look in the mirror over the next couple of days and decide are we going to get it back on track, or they're going to try to pursue their own agenda."

Scalise has indicated he will continue to act in his role as House majority leader, but that he has no plans to endorse another candidate for the speakership.
