Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has suspended Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu from government meetings until further notice after the minister said 'throwing an atom bomb on Gaza in one of the options'.
Eliyahu also voiced his objection to allowing any humanitarian aid into Gaza, adding that “there is no such thing as uninvolved civilians in Gaza” and that Palestinians “can go to Ireland or deserts.”
Later, Eliyahu took to social media to claim that his comment about the option of nuking Gaza was only a metaphor.
