Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov has announced five key outcomes of the meeting in the Ramstein format held on Wednesday:

◾️ Coalition of ground-based air defense systems to be formed by about 20 countries and led by Germany and France;

◾️ The Netherlands will allocate €2 billion for military assistance to Ukraine;

◾️ Estonia will allocate $500,000 to the IT coalition it heads to ensure Ukraine’s cybersecurity;

◾️ Britain and Norway, as part of a maritime coalition, have agreed to develop ways to enhance security in the Black Sea;

◾️ Germany has promised Ukraine a package of military assistance worth $1.4 billion, set to include IRIS-T systems with guided missiles, one Patriot air defense system, and additional 155mm artillery ammunition.
Ukraine expects to receive the package by mid-December.

Support for Ukraine has left EU member states with depleted stocks of munitions leading to so-called ‘Ukraine fatigue’. The US has refused to include multibillion-dollar Ukraine packages in stopgap measures to avoid a shutdown, while EU countries are sinking into recession, facing price hikes and food inflation of 4.6% in October and piling pressure on low-income households.

▪️On the morning of November 22, Hamas and the IDF announced a four-day ceasefire and hostage exchange. The ceasefire might take effect at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

▪️ Israeli officials stated there would be no ceasefire under the deal before November 24.

▪️Before the truce was declared, the IDF was able to expand its zone of control on the northern outskirts of the Palestinian enclave. The Israelis have finally gained a foothold at the Indonesian hospital on the eastern outskirts of Jabalia, but the encirclement is not yet complete.

▪️ Palestinian groups continue to attack the IDF. Several clashes took place near Juhor ad-Dik and Al-Wafa Hospital, but the militants failed to push back the Israelis.

▪️The IDF has disabled almost all Hamas battalions in the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli army spokesman Jonathan Conricus said.

▪️Turkey may put forward an idea of creating a "consortium" to restore the Gaza Strip after settling the conflict in the enclave.

🇰🇵🇰🇷 The DPRK Ministry of National Defense criticized South Korea for partially canceling the inter-Korean military agreement in connection with the launch of a military reconnaissance satellite. The Ministry argues that South Korea will bear full responsibility for any "uncontrollable" situation or consequences that may arise as a result of this decision.

North Korea's Defense Ministry said the satellite launch was in line with its right to self-defense and a measure to monitor and respond to the intensifying military activities of "enemies" around the Korean Peninsula. But the political "gangsters" and "traitors" represented by South Korea launched a "confrontational hysteria" over the launch, calling the DPRK's "legitimate right" a violation of the UN Security Council resolutions and the inter-Korean military agreement as if they were deliberately "waiting for an opportunity" the defense ministry said.

🇨🇿 About one million employees of enterprises and firms and about half of the staff of primary and secondary schools of the Czech Republic will join a strike action on November 27 against government measures to save the state budget, the Czech News Agency reported.

Hundreds of industrial enterprises will stop production for at least one hour on Monday, the report said, adding that employees of a number of institutions and enterprises, due to the specific nature of their work, will not be able to leave their workspace but will express their support for the strike one way or another.

Israel would prefer dead hostages to Gaza ceasefire — Scott Ritter

Israel has agreed a truce and prisoner exchange with the Hamas movement. Scott Ritter, a former United Nations weapons inspector and US Marine, argued the deal was a victory for Palestine and a humiliation for the Zionist state.

Under the deal, Israel and Hamas will observe a four-day "humanitarian pause". Hamas will release 50 women and children taken hostage in its October 7 incursion into southern Israel, while Israel will release 150 Palestinian women and children under 19 held in its prisons.

Ritter told Sputnik that anyone "who cares about humanity and people" should welcome the good news of the agreement. But he argued that the Israeli government never wanted to be in the position of exchanging prisoners "from a doctrinal standpoint"

In recent weeks, there have been increasing rocket and drone attacks on US forces in Iraq and Syria, believed to be in response to US support for Tel Aviv during the Gaza conflict. Despite the ongoing turmoil, there are also claims that the Pentagon continues to engage in oil theft in Syria.

One reported incident involves a convoy of 50 oil-loaded trucks travelling into Iraq from Syria through the unauthorized Mahmoudiyah crossing. These trucks were reportedly heading towards US bases in northern Iraq.

The US troops stationed in Syria's oil-rich eastern regions have become frequent targets as regional tensions rise due to the conflict in Gaza. The Pentagon has acknowledged that its forces have been attacked 66 times in Syria and Iraq since October 17, resulting in over 60 injuries. This count does not even include the additional injuries caused by a recent missile strike on Iraq's Al-Asad airbase.
