Poor craftsman blames his tool: whose fault is Ukraine's defeat?

Ukrainian politicians have started blame-shifting for the profound failure on the battlefield as the conflict enters its 21st month.

🔺Davyd Arakhamia, leader of the pro-government Servant of the People party, claims it was then-UK premier Boris Johnson's idea to go all in fighting instead of signing a peace deal with Moscow.
🔺Alexey Arestovich, ex-adviser to President Zelensky, shifts the blame onto Kiev's NATO allies for not providing "real assistance".
🔺Sergey Kryvonos, retired general of the Ukraine Armed Forces, lays the blame at President Zelensky's door over his "empty victory promises" and misinformation.
🔺 Arakhamia's partymate, MP Maryana Bezuglaya, pins the blame on Commander-in-Chief Gen. Valery Zaluzhny for not proposing "the vision for 2024."

While the blame game is gaining momentum in Ukraine, Russian forces are continuing to gain ground on the battlefield, storming strategically important settlements.

📹 Professor Hasan Ünal on the West's loss of moral superiority and the emergence of a multipolar world

"... whenever they employ that word, you know, democracy, democratization, human rights, freedoms and all that, others will simply respond to that by saying, oh yes, we know, we know it very well, democracy a la Gaza, democratization a la Gaza, human rights a la Gaza, we know how criminal you can get, can you please stop and keep all those rubbish to yourself?", he said.

⚡️ The conflict could have ended as early as spring 2022 if Ukraine had agreed to neutrality, said Davyd Arakhamia, the head of Zelensky’s Servant of the People party. He added that Russia needed a commitment from Kiev not to join NATO. Ukraine did not agree…
What the British press wrote about how Boris Johnson disrupted peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine?

nothing.

Those falling dead silent on the matter were such news outlets as the BBC, The Times, the Telegraph, the Guardian, along with the Daily Mail and the Independent.

In an interview with a Ukrainian TV channel last week, Arakhamia contended that after the Ukrainian negotiating team returned from Istanbul, Johnson “came to Kiev and said that we would not sign anything with [the Russians] at all, adding: ‘let’s just continue fighting’.”

🇨🇿 An anti-government rally led by the largest trade unions is taking place in Prague. The unions have declared November 27 a “day of protest.” According to trade union leaders, up to a million people across the country are participating in the strike.

The reason for the protests is a package of measures designed to save budget funds, which involves the abolition of a number of tax benefits, an increase in VAT on some goods, as well as other unpopular measures.

The budget cuts, which mainly affect ordinary citizens, occur amid large allocations of economic and military support to Ukraine by the Czech Republic.

Russian soldier sends message to ordinary Americans

🗣 “If the state is based on going around, robbing, and rebuilding with the loot, it will all end like ancient Rome, only the city will remain. [But] if the state, like ours, is built on the Orthodox faith, on the love for the homeland, our name can change - Russian Empire, USSR, Russia - it doesn't matter. Just as we were Russians, we will remain so,” Vasily Vorobyov, a decorated Russian soldier, told Sputnik’s Russell Bentley (@TXDPR).

"Ukraine's president brought the war to the West": awkward friendly fire (or just shooting yourself in the foot) from Politico?

The media openly called Zelensky "the most powerful person in Europe" in 2023 because he's "convincing people that his battle against Russia is also theirs and giving him the authority to make Europe do what he wants." But some people with Ukrainian flags in their social media accounts are now doubting Politico's independent stance.

Was someone in Politico poisoned with truth serum maybe?
