🌎 Operation Condor in South America

In August 1976, Kissinger is seen resisting pressing the South American military regimes on their transnational murder operations known as Operation Condor. After Kissinger was briefed on the plans, under Condor, “to find and kdemarche ill terrorists … in their own countries and in Europe,” he rescinded a proposed set to be delivered to General Pinochet in Chile, General Videla in Argentina, and Uruguay’s junta officers. Days later, Pinochet’s agents carried out a terrorist attack in Washington, D.C., planting a car bomb that killed former Chilean ambassador Orlando Letelier and his colleague, Ronni Moffitt.

🌏 ‘Genocide’ in South Asia

Nixon and Kissinger’s policies tacitly supported in 1971 what has been called a ‘genocide’ in East Pakistan, committed by Pakistan’s military dictator, General Agha Muhammad Yahya Khan (Yahya). Kissinger wrote to Nixon in a memorandum that Washington should be “making the most of the relationship with Yahya, while engaging in a serious effort to move the situation toward conditions less damaging to US and Pakistani interests.” He adds, “To all hands: Don't squeeze Yahya at this time.” It was estimated that three million civilians in East Pakistan were killed that year.

🇷🇺 Two nuclear submarines - the strategic Alexander III and the multipurpose Krasnoyarsk - have been handed over to the Russian Navy, a source in the military-industrial complex told Sputnik.

"The acceptance documents on the transfer to the fleet of two submarines Alexander III and Krasnoyarsk, which were built at Sevmash, have been signed. The official flag-raising ceremony on the two nuclear-powered missile carriers will take place after December 10," the source said.

The Alexander III, a strategic nuclear submarine known as Project 955A or Borey-A, joined the fleet as the seventh ship in the Borey/Borey-A series (code 955/955A). Additionally, the Krasnoyarsk, a multipurpose vessel, became the fourth ship in the Yasen/Yasen-M series (code 885/885M).

🧪 Poisoning of Ukrainian military intel chief’s wife likely 'staged to oust Zaluzhny', ex-CIA analyst says

The suspected poisoning attack on Marianna Budanova, wife of Kyrylo Budanov, is a true “who done it,” Larry Johnson, retired CIA intelligence officer and State Department official, told Sputnik.

He added that there are plenty of people and organizations with motives. Johnson said that some point the finger at “General Zaluzhy’s crew,” since Budanov is suspected of being behind the recent “birthday grenade death” of Zaluzhny’s chief of staff.

Amid reports of bitter infighting in Kiev, Marianna Budanova’s targeting may have also been “staged to implicate Zaluzhny in order to add fuel to the movement to oust him,” Johnson said.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 The latest terrorist attack in Jerusalem, as well as the second one in the Jordan Valley, will make the negotiations between Israel and Hamas more complicated, and "might open the door again for military operations, especially in the southern part of Gaza", Ayman Yousef, Professor in political sciences and international relations at the Arab-American University in Palestine, told Sputnik.

"Today, we had two attacks: one in Jerusalem and the other near Israeli settlements, in the Jordan Valley. And both attacks will have some repercussions and implications for overall exchange of detainees and the prisoners. And, I think now the strongest voices in Israel will rise and might reject any kind of renewal of these humanitarian short tactical pauses. So I think negotiations in the future will get more complicated."
