💸 A former hospital executive in North Carolina, who claims he was fired in 2018 because he is a white male, has reportedly won $10 million in a reverse discrimination lawsuit.

David Duval, a former executive at Novant Health, sued his former employer in 2019. Back then, he stated that he had been fired because of the diversity agenda in the healthcare system, and was replaced by one black woman and one white.

Duval reportedly accused the clinic of violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits employment discrimination based on race and gender.

Eventually, the jury ruled that Novant Health had failed to prove it would have fired Duval regardless.
