🇷🇺 Russia's salmon caviar production has hit a ten-year record high, according to the All-Russian Association of Fishery Producers.
Between January and October this year, fisheries generated 22,288 tons of this delicacy, marking the largest yield since 2010.
This figure represents a significant production increase of 2.6 times the amount during the same period of 2022.
The industry association attributed the growth to a bountiful salmon fishing season in the Far East. "Our fishermen caught roughly 609,000 tons of Pacific salmon," stated German Zverev, the association’s president, via his Telegram channel.
He further projected that caviar production could surpass 25,000 tons by year's end. This estimate significantly exceeds the average annual consumption in Russia, which has hovered between 15,000 and 20,000 tons over half a decade.

🇹🇷🇮🇱 Turkiye is using all available mechanisms to hold the Israeli government accountable for its actions in the Gaza Strip during the military operation against Hamas, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday.
Last week, lawyers for the ruling Justice and Development Party in Turkiye said that the country had filed a lawsuit against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with the International Criminal Court (ICC), accusing him of "committing genocide" in the Gaza Strip. On Tuesday, Erdogan called Israel a "terrorist state," adding that Netanyahu possesses nuclear weapons but "[his] end is near."

🌾🇷🇺 Russia is not interested in grain deal renewal, agriculture minister states
After the arrangement ended in July, Russia opposed its extension, since in reality the deal covered the commercial shipment of the grain to well-fed countries.
🗣 "We are not interested in renewing the grain deal," Russian Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev said, explaining that "our grain exports, given the shutdown of the grain deal, did not fall in any way, and even increased. Already, according to the data as of mid-December, more than 30 million tonnes have been exported within this agricultural year, which is more than in the same period last year."
Patrushev added that the decision not to extend the grain deal was "political" and that Russia will continue supplying grain to those who need it.

🇺🇸🇮🇱 US Senator Chis Van Hollen said during an interview with an American news channel that Prime Minister Netanyahu has “shut the door” on efforts to establish a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine following the war.
US President Joe Biden has repeatedly expressed support for Israel in their war against Hamas, but has also called for a two-state solution in the event that the conflict ends. However, the tensions between the US and Israel reached new highs when Netanyahu pushed back against the White House after they urged Israel to end its large-scale ground campaign in Gaza, and focus its attack on Hamas.

“[Netanyahu] has continued to weaken the Palestinian authority,” he said. “Instead of trying to find peace or at least preventing the conditions on the ground from changing with additional settlements to allow a two-state solution, he has shut the door on that effort.”

“For the first time ever from a military hardware perspective, we are five to seven years behind our near-peer adversaries in a critical kinetic piece of technology,” former US official said.
Questions over funding and planning have stymied US plans to create massive drone swarms to overwhelm China and other potential military adversaries.
Having accepted the US’ shortfall in ships, missiles, and troops compared to the Asian superpower, the so-called Replicator program proposes to use novel drone technology to resolve the issue cheaply.
But a chicken-and-egg problem has emerged as the Pentagon waits for Silicon Valley innovation while tech firms wait for Pentagon funding.

An audio eavesdropping device was found in a room that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny could use for work in the future, the Security Service of Ukraine reported, adding that the device found was inoperable, it will be handed over for examination.
Recently, the global media have increasingly written about the growing confrontation between Zelensky and Zaluzhny. An article written by the commander-in-chief for The Economist caused a stir, in which he stated that the Ukrainian armed forces had "reached a stalemate". This statement provoked sharp criticism from the head of the Kiev regime.
Ukraine's President himself, in an interview with the British tabloid Sun, called the military's attempts to get involved in politics a big mistake. The media considered this a direct attack on Zaluzhny and an actual recognition of the conflict between them.

🇩🇪🚜 In Berlin, farmers began blocking the area around the Brandenburg Gate as part of the ongoing protests.
They are demanding that subsidies not be taken away and that taxes not be lowered, otherwise they will go bankrupt. If Scholz does not hear them before Christmas, the farmers threaten to give the officials a "surprise" by completely paralyzing traffic in the German capital on Christmas Eve.
