❗️EXPOSED: Israeli merc who became an officer in Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate has founded his own PMC in Israel, Sputnik has found out. How did he manage to do this?

◾️Denis Desyatnik, a former IDF special forces officer with 14 years of experience, left for Ukraine in April 2022 and became the leader of the "Masada-6" special forces group of Israeli mercenaries (photo 1).

◾️In 2023, Desyatnik was regularly presented in the Ukrainian media as a lieutenant colonel of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine. Even his lack of Ukrainian citizenship did not prevent him from getting such a high rank (photo 2).

◾️In October, he returned to Israel, but was not drafted by the IDF due to his poor reputation. This is because, after leaving the IDF in the 2000s, he was for many years the bodyguard of one of the most powerful Israeli crime lords, Amir Molner. The mercenary himself has repeatedly spoken about this to both Israeli and Ukrainian media (photo 3).

◾️At the end of October, Denis Desyatnik founded the "Israeli National Forces" PMC in Haifa (photo 4). According to official documents, the company is engaged in humanitarian activities in northern Israel (photo 5). Moreover, Desyatnik openly says on his social networks that he is gathering "experienced soldiers and everyone who wants to protect Israel's northern border from attack" (photo 6).

◾️He talks about his company to the Israeli media, showing his own training camp near Haifa. It is noteworthy that Desyatnik continues to wear Ukrainian patches on his Israeli uniform, including the red and black symbol of Ukrainian nationalists, on which the Star of David is visible (photos 7,8).

Earlier, Sputnik learned the story of Victor Friedman, who fought as part of “Masada-6” under Desyatnik’s leadership as part of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate.

🗣Why are the Houthis willing to risk it all for Palestine?

"I think that everybody in the Middle East, every popular resistance movement wants to do something about the genocide in Gaza. ... So Houthis, in order to justify their existence and to justify their cause, they have to act for the Palestinians and to stop the genocide. This is what they're all about. And it must surprise people because, of course, Yemen has suffered so much for so long, and a lot of the people are starving that these guys are willing to take such a risk. But that's because they're governed by principles above all else," - Maram Susli (AKA Syrian Girl), Journalist and Think tank Analyst based in Australia, told Sputnik.

How NATO recognized Russia's military strength at the end of 2023:

🪖 NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in an interview with DPA:
"The Russian army had time to really settle down, building well-prepared defensive lines with huge minefields, trenches and obstacles for main battle tanks. These defense lines are difficult to penetrate - especially if you don't have an air force that can truly support these operations."

🇺🇸 James Stavridis, a retired US Navy admiral, former supreme allied commander of NATO:
Putin’s economy is growing … And his armies … have stiffened into capable defenders behind their belts of mines, barriers and tanks — all protected by air power Ukraine cannot match.

🇩🇪 Commander of the NATO’s Multinational Corps Northeast, LTG Jürgen-Joachim von Sandrart in his interview with El Mundo:
"We saw a fairly traditional approach with a strong emphasis on artillery and a high concentration of ground forces. From our point of view, this does not suggest that the Russian army is weak, but rather that it has a different approach to operations, as well as command and control.” “This is an organization that is learning, with a strong desire to win.”

If reelected, Trump would need to purge FBI, DoJ

If Donald Trump is re-elected in 2024, he will have ‘no choice but to purge the FBI and Department of Justice of all of the Biden and Obama appointees,’ David T. Pyne told Sputnik.

A massive reshuffle was needed as civil servants ‘helped steal the election for Joe Biden and have enabled the political prosecution of the 45th POTUS on false charges,’ said the former US Department of Defense officer.

Pyne was commenting on the ‘ten-point plan’ announced by Trump to dismantle the ‘deep state’ and reinstitute the Schedule F executive order. This would allow him ‘to clean out all of the corrupt actors in our National Security and Intelligence apparatus.’ However, the Deep State ‘would do everything they could to stop him,’ said Pyne. Furthermore, given Trump’s record, the expert is not convinced Trump ‘could be trusted not to appoint foreign policy hawks back to positions of power again.’

🇺🇸 Three's a crowd: Biden faces challenges over Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan

"We need to reevaluate what our strategic posture is going to be in the world," Michael Maloof, former senior security policy analyst in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, told Sputnik's Backstory podcast. "And we're not doing that. We only dig ourselves into a deeper hole, thanks to the neoconservatives, whose policy direction over time has put us in these positions."

The Red Sea escalation is a potential harbinger of a larger Middle Eastern conflict given that it is accompanied by increased clashes between Israel and Hezbollah, according to the expert.

At the same time, it's getting clear that the Biden-backed Kiev regime has lost the US proxy war, the analyst said. On top of that, Beijing has signaled that it would reunite with Taiwan regardless of US attempts to militarize the island. That being said, the US is stretched to the limit, Maloof warned.

🗣Houthis can starve the Western war machine of oil

"I wonder what will happen now, especially since the US at this point is at its lowest oil reserves since 1980s. And if the oil reserves in Saudi Arabia are threatened at the same time by the Houthis, America is in for a very difficult time. Those ships, those naval vessels, need oil to run," - Maram Susli (AKA Syrian Girl), Journalist and Think tank Analyst based in Australia, told Sputnik.

❗️Sputnik correspondent Russell Bentley (@TXDPR) reports from Donetsk’s Petrovsky district as artillery blasts flare in the background:

“The center of Donetsk is still being bombed heavily last few days. And out here in Petrovsky, not only the artillery is by dangerous, but also they're using drones. They're specifically targeting civilians. They're hitting people, they can clearly see are civilians, even kids, little girls. It's still a real hot situation here. And so don't think that the war's over.”

🪖 NATO chief's remarks on Russian military meant to prep West for Ukraine's defeat

According to Nikolai Kostikin of the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis, Jens Stoltenberg's recent comments on Russia's Armed Forces are designed to shape public opinion in the West to accept Ukraine's inevitable defeat. Kostikin also noted that the collective West's policy has suffered a serious setback.

Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO, acknowledged that Russia has created a formidable line of defense that Ukraine has struggled to overcome. Additionally, the military-industrial complex in the West has been outperformed by Russia and China in terms of technology and effectiveness.

Kostikin suggests that Stoltenberg's comments coincide with potential efforts by Washington to involve Poland and ultimately eliminate the EU as a geopolitical competitor.
