“Systemic” mistreatment at Washington DC jail lead to transfer of some 400 inmates, officials say
The US Marshals Service intends to move the inmates out of the jail's main Central Detention Facility after a recent surprise inspection found evidence of unacceptable conditions, including unsanitary living conditions and the denial of food and water as a punitive measure.
🧐In a meanwhile, the conditions at a newer Central Treatment Facility, where Jan. 6 defendants are held, “were observed to be largely appropriate and consistent with federal prisoner detention standards," USMS said, and did not "necessitate the transfer of inmates from that facility at this time."

⚡️ CDC gives greenlight to COVID-19 vaccines for children aged 5-11
Hundreds of QAnon believers gathered in Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas, expecting JFK Jr. to reappear and reinstate Trump as president.
Some believed the reappearance of John F. Kennedy’s son, who died in a plane crash in 1999, will bring about the reinstatement of Trump as president.
Other people lingering at Dealey Plaza, where US President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963, believe that Trump will walk into the White House as president tomorrow morning, and with the help the 104-year-old former president, usher in a Trump/JFK Jr. administration.

UPDATE | With 71% reporting: Youngkin takes 54.3% of votes, leading rival McAuliffe with over 200,000 ballots
Forwarded from Donald J. Trump
It is looking like Terry McAuliffe's campaign against a certain person named “Trump” has very much helped Glenn Youngkin. All McAuliffe did was talk Trump, Trump, Trump and he lost! What does that tell you, Fake News? I guess people running for office as Democrats won’t be doing that too much longer. I didn’t even have to go rally for Youngkin, because McAuliffe did it for me. Thank you to the MAGA voters for turning out big!

Blanchard was arrested October 29 on charges of solicitation of prostitution from a minor age 16 or older and for using a vehicle to promote prostitution or unlawful sex.

The most radical law enforcement reform in the United States has failed as over 56% of the voters in Minneapolis have refused to get rid of the city's police department.
The city streets, which witnessed violent riots in the past, have remained indifferent to the referendum's results. A group of regulars warmed themselves near a fire at a place where George Floyd died. The city center was empty as well.
