The custodian, James Savage, said he suffered two heart attacks and routinely received death threats after the accusations by Trump, his attorney, and campaign, even though they did not mention Savage by name.

🦠 LA Mayor Eric Garcetti, who is in Glasgow as part of the international delegation of mayors from C40 Cities at COP26, tested positive for COVID-19 earlier on Wednesday.

"He is feeling good and isolating in his hotel room. He is fully vaccinated," Garcetti's official Twitter account said.

Garcetti is the chairman of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group - a group of 97 world cities representing a quarter of the global economy that are focused on fighting climate change. He joined the mayors of the world's other biggest cities at the UN's COP26 climate change conference.

🚔⚖️ Former Las Vegas Raiders football player Henry Ruggs was driving at 156MPH seconds before he crashed into a RAV4 SUV, instantly killing a 23-year-old woman and her dog.

Ruggs was found to have a blood alcohol content of .161%, just over twice Nevada’s legal limit of .08%.

Charged with a felony DUI resulting in death, and felony reckless driving, Ruggs appeared in court on Wednesday and posted $150,000 bail on the strict condition that he remained confined at home, is electronically monitored, consumes no alcohol, does not drive and surrenders his passport.

💵 The Federal Reserve has vowed to keep inflation under control, particularly for those Americans living paycheck-to-paycheck.

The Fed chairman, Jerome Powell, asserted that the US central bank has the tools, including rate hikes, to subdue price pressure.
