❗️We have heard about these reports [about the US intention to station nuclear weapons in the UK], we are studying the source and their reliability since NATO declared us their main threat, in fact the enemy, we consider all nuclear weapons of NATO member countries as a single nuclear arsenal against the Russian Federation. In our doctrinal documents we proceed from this, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

‘Wild card’ Zelensky ready to stoke conflict, bring Russia and NATO to showdown - report
Doubts about the West's willingness to continue propping up the Kiev regime may prompt President Zelensky to escalate the conflict in Ukraine by ordering riskier attacks against Russia, Time magazine reports.
Zelensky is already taking "bigger risks" to turn the conflict around and bolster his political standing at home, the news magazine writes.
According to Time, each of these undertakings carries the risk of retaliation from Russia, which could potentially add fuel to the conflict and draw NATO in “more directly”. It is noted that both Moscow and Brussels want to avoid this outcome.
Armed conflicts "take on a life of their own, particularly with one of the key players—in this case, Zelensky—becoming a wild card to watch," the magazine concludes.
Russian President Vladimir Putin underscored in December 2023 that from geopolitical, economic, political and military standpoints, Russia has no interest in fighting with NATO countries. According to him, Moscow is open to developing relations with members of the alliance.

🤔 Did Sullivan jinx it all?
Just a week before the Hamas attack against Israel, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said that the Middle East region was “quieter” than it has been decades before.
Was that a jinx or short-sightedness?
