🤬 Music lovers are slamming Travis Scott’s response to the chaos in the crowd at his concert by sharing videos of other performers pausing their shows to address concerns.

👍 👏 A TikTok user shared footage from a 1993 Nirvana concert showing lead singer Kurt Cobain pausing his performance after noticing an assault taking place in the crowd.

In the footage, Cobain suddenly stops singing, throws down his guitar and runs toward the front of the stage, apparently having witnessed a man grope another fan.
🙏 McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski apologized for a text sent in April to Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, saying his comments were “wrong” while promising to meet with the parents of children whose shooting deaths prompted the text.

“Those comments were wrong and I’m sorry,” Kempczinski said in the six-minute video. “I’m sorry I let you down. And I let myself down.”

In the text, Kempczinski referred to the shooting deaths of 13-year-old Adam Toledo, by Chicago police, and 7-year-old Jaslyn Adams while she was in a McDonald’s drive-thru. He called the shootings “tragic.” He then said, “Both the parents failed those kids, which is something you can’t say. Even harder to fix.”

😱😱😱

Rep. Paul Gosar on Sunday released a video of photoshopped clips of an anime show depicting him killing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

The tweeted video – which he captioned, "Any anime fans out there?" – opens with Gosar's name under Japanese text that reads "attack of immigrants," an apparent reference to the anime show "Attack on the Titan" from which the Republican pulled various clips.

The video then goes on to show footage of immigrants at the southern border, overlaying the footage with anime-style special effects and crosscutting with interstitials that read "drugs, crime, poverty, money, gangs, violence" and "trafficking."

😏 In what has become his regular ritual of keeping everyone in suspense, former President Donald Trump said he will "probably" wait until after the 2022 midterm elections to announce whether he will run for president in 2024.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump yet again stated that he is "certainly thinking about it and we’ll see."

"I think a lot of people will be very happy, frankly, with the decision, and probably will announce that after the midterms."
💵 💸 Top Republicans on K Street say that big business is warming up to the Republican Party again, less than a year after Jan. 6 but with the 2022 elections in sight.

A host of Republican lobbyists say that Tuesday’s elections in Virginia and New Jersey have ignited interest from their corporate clients on making inroads with GOP officials on the Hill. They suspect that cash will soon start flowing from corporate PACs to their party’s lawmakers too.

“After talking to several clients today, they’ll be a lot more aggressively Republican giving” over the next six months, said Brian Ballard, a top GOP lobbyist with ties to the former Trump administration, in an interview on Wednesday. He added that things were finally looking up for Republican campaigns, in terms of donations from his firm’s corporate clients: “It’s much more bullish for Republicans than it was perhaps six months ago.”

The vaccine mandate in Los Angeles was said to the one of the strictest in the US, as all workers of the city's indoor facilities and visitors under 12 were required to provide vaccination certificates, according to a new ordinance, issued earlier in the day. The deadline for municipal workers was set for December 18.
🤟🏿 Travis Scott's high-energy performances are known for being chaotic and fun-filled shows with concert-goers encouraged to take part in raucous activities including mosh pits, crowd surfing and stage diving. On Friday night, something went wrong.

😤 That penchant for inspiring chaos onstage has led to some troubling situations long before Friday’s Astroworld crowd-stampede disaster that killed eight people and left numerous concert-goers injured in Houston.

▪️ Travis was sentenced to one year of court supervision after pleading guilty to reckless conduct charges stemming from a 2015 incident in Chicago at the Lollapalooza music festival.

▪️ In April 2017, a man named Kyle Green sued Scott after he attended a show at Terminal 5 in New York City, where Green claims fans pushed him off an upper-deck balcony.

▪️ In 2017, Scott was arrested after he encouraged fans to bypass security and rush the stage, leaving a security guard, a police officer and several others injured during a concert in Arkansas.
