The top company executive highlighted the impressive capabilities of the hydroacoustic system, missile-torpedo arsenal, and radio-electronic weaponry found in the Project 677 submarines.

Currently, the first serial submarine of the project, Lada Kronstadt, is being readied for handover to the Russian Navy. This submarine was manufactured at the Admiralty shipyards in St. Petersburg.

German music giant BMG dropping rock legend Roger Waters over defiant Israel, Ukraine stance

The 80-year-old rocker and Pink Floyd cofounder is reportedly getting his 2016 publishing deal with Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG) revoked over his non-mainstream approved stance on the ongoing crises in Ukraine and Israel. Sources told entertainment magazine Variety that BMG is getting ready to “separate entirely” from Roger Waters, a step that’s highly unusual in the music business, where publishing deals are generally allowed to expire without renewal instead of being axed.

Waters mentioned being “fired” by BMG in an interview with independent journalist Glenn Greenwald in November, citing pressure from the pro-Israeli Anti-Defamation League nonprofit over his position on the war in Gaza.

Waters has been a consistent and outspoken critic of US imperialism, and ruffled feathers in Western capitals last February after telling the UN Security Council last year that Russia’s military operation in Ukraine was “not unprovoked.”

After the October 7 escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli crisis, Waters accused Israel of “committing genocide” and said that “its leaders and any Western leaders who support it should be prosecuted under the Genocide Convention.” The rocker’s comments has sparked claims of “anti-Semitism” by detractors – allegations which Waters himself has fiercely denied as an attempt to smear him.
