Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed into law a new voting measure that strengthens the existing voter identification requirements, prohibits the mass mailing of ballots and bans voter harvesting.

The new law requires additional identification when a voter seeks to change any registration information or requests a vote-by-mail ballot.

The US Air Force announced on Thursday that on April 29, a Skyborg autonomous AI piloting system took the helm of an aircraft for the first time, as it test flew an unmanned combat aerial vehicle at Florida’s Tyndall Air Force Base.

“We’re extremely excited for the successful flight of an early version of the ’brain‘ of the Skyborg system. It is the first step in a marathon of progressive growth for Skyborg technology,” Brig. Gen. Dale White, program executive officer for fighters and advanced aircraft, said in a press release. “These initial flights kick off the experimentation campaign that will continue to mature the ACS and build trust in the system.”

A US advocacy group is launching a $4mln campaign in 43 congressional districts controlled by House Democrats to counter what they describe as "Nancy Pelosi's socialist drug takeover plan."

The bill, crafted by the conservative American Action Network advocacy group, aims to regulate and lower prenoscription drug prices, which could lead to fewer cures for life-threatening diseases and “cancel new cures for the patients who need them, and send American innovation overseas,” according to the group's director.

The first commercials shared with Fox News will be played on TV in 12 districts while digital ads are planned for 31 other districts
