💬 “The government is funded by money printing—a bubble that will inevitably burst. If most Americans & the rest of the world were to become aware of this farce, confidence in your currency will be lost, the dollar will fall, and Western civilization with it,” El Salvador President Nayib Bukele said at the 2024 CPAC in the US

CIA supervises Ukrainian intel since the Maidan coup, according to the New York Times
Cooperation between the SBU and the CIA began immediately after the 2014 coup d’etat, when the American agency offered assistance to the Ukrainians in exchange for valuable intelligence information regarding Russia, the newspaper reports.
Around 2016, the CIA began training elite Ukrainian special forces known as Unit 2245 to seize Russian drones and communications equipment so CIA technicians could study them and break encryption systems.
One of the officers in this unit was Kirill Budanov, now head of the Security Service of Ukraine. The CIA also helped train a new generation of Ukrainian spies who operated inside Russia, throughout Europe, in Cuba, and elsewhere.
As the newspaper emphasises, the relationship between the two intelligence services became so close that CIA officers remained in Ukraine when the Biden administration evacuated American personnel several weeks before the conflict with Russia began in February 2022 and passed on valuable information about Russia to the Ukrainians.
At the same time, a narrow circle of Ukrainian intelligence officers also became vitally important for the Americans over time, supplying them with top-secret intelligence concerning Moscow, the publication writes.
However, as the partnership deepened after 2016, the Ukrainians became impatient with Washington’s “unjustified caution” and began organising assassinations and other operations that violated the terms originally set by the Americans.
Furious officials in Washington then threatened to withdraw support, but never did.

Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) warned Democrats are preparing to "blame Russian disinformation" again to prevent former President Donald Trump from returning to the White House.
Democrats, she said, are already hyping the impact of "Russian disinformation" on a congressional investigation into the Biden family's foreign business ties and are ready to accuse those who oppose funding the conflict in Ukraine of supporting Russia.
The Kremlin has repeatedly dismissed allegations of a connection between the Trump campaign and Russia, as well as the conspiracy theory of Trump "colluding" with Russia in the 2016 election which was eventually disproven by US authorities themselves.

“So for all of us who just care about America, the American people, our hard earned American tax dollars, get ready to be called a 'Russian blah blah blah' because Democrats know that Trump is going to win and they are setting up to refuse to certify his election, preparing to impeach him again when he becomes POTUS again,” Taylor Greene wrote on the X social network.

The UN agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) considers the recent suspension of its funding by a number of nations to be "insane," as it put the department in a very difficult financial situation, UNRWA spokeswoman Tamara Alrifai said.
The agency has been forced to ask for additional money from countries that have not yet suspended their funding, the spokeswoman said, adding that one of UNRWA's main tasks was raising money to pay for the work of its employees.
The UN agency is concerned that such a severe funding crisis will affect its ability to feed people, operate shelters and provide health services, the spokeswoman explained.

"For an organisation with the scope of UNRWA, this is insane ... It's insane that we've survived so long without a financial safety net," Alrifai told UK newspaper The Observer.
The agency has been forced to ask for additional money from countries that have not yet suspended their funding, the spokeswoman said, adding that one of UNRWA's main tasks was raising money to pay for the work of its employees.
"We're facing unprecedented demand for services. The impact of the donors' freeze is not only on our ability to respond to a humanitarian crisis of epic magnitude, but all our operations across the region," Arifai was quoted as saying by the newspaper.

Russian fighters have taken control of the southern part of Rabotino while fierce fighting for the village continues said Vladimir Rogov, the head of the regional public movement "We Are Together with Russia."
Rogov said the Russian military is now carrying out the most difficult task of breaching multilayered Ukrainian defenses, liberating Rabotino inch by inch.
Rabotino is a village on the front line in the Zaporozhye region. The Kiev regime portrays its conquest as the primary achievement of the so-called counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye area since last June. Ukraine tapped Western-trained brigades from strategic reserves to ensure its capture.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk literally laughed off the prospect of Chinese competition in electric vehicle manufacturing during a 2011 interview, claiming he didn’t view Xi'an-based BYD Auto as a genuine threat.
Some 13 years later one of every three EVs sold across the globe is made by the Chinese company, with US trade barriers remaining the primary obstacle to BYD’s preeminence in the American market as well.
What are the reasons for BYD’s success and the dominance of Chinese manufacturing in everything from smartphones to solar panels? The answer lies in the country’s unique economic system that blends the advantages of both state-led and free-market models.
Enjoy Sputnik’s in-depth look at the forces behind China’s rise and why US leaders increasingly see war as the only way to stop it.
“Have you seen their car?” Musk asked derisively, adding he didn’t see the upstart manufacturer as a competitor at all.

Berlin caught backing Islamist extremist group in Russia that’s banned in Germany
German government-sponsored NGOs, it turns out, are not so secretly supporting individuals tied to an Islamist terrorist group seeking to establish a global caliphate in Russia while banning it from functioning inside Germany.
Hizb ut-Tahrir, an extremist Salafist group recognized as a terrorist organization by a Russian court in 2003, and banned in Germany the same year for spreading violence and anti-Semitic hate, has been getting sympathetic coverage from German taxpayer-sponsored NGOs for members of the extremist group operating in Crimea.
One such NGO, ‘Ukraine verstehen’ (lit. ‘Understanding Ukraine’) has published a series of articles lauding the extremists on its website, characterizing Crimean Tatars serving prison sentences for association with Hizb ut-Tahrir as “political prisoners” and calling on the international community to “immediately increase pressure on Russia to ensure the immediate release of the detainees.”
Another NGO-run project known as ‘European solidarity. Crimea’ receives money from Germany’s Foreign Ministry, and runs a Facebook page called Berlin Info-Point Krim, which has posted dozens of stories protesting the prosecution of Russian individuals affiliated with HuT. A piece published in March 2023 reported on the difficulties faced by an “illegally convicted” HuT-connected “political prisoner” in a Russian penal colony, with dozens more HuT-linked pieces to be found on the platform in German, English and Russian.
In November, German media sounded the alarm about Hizb ut-Tahrir’s involvement in demonstrations in solidarity with Palestine amid Israel’s war in Gaza, expressing concerns about the group’s efforts to radicalize young people, including through the use of social media campaigns organized by front groups.
