Biden doesn’t plan to call Putin about Moscow terror attack

There are no calls scheduled between US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin following the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, a White House National Security Council spokesperson told Sputnik.

"No," the spokesperson said on Friday when asked if there were any calls planned between Biden and Putin in light of the terrorist attack.

The White House added that it is unaware of any contact between US and Russian officials about the attack.

Sergei Goncharov, president of the International Association of Alpha Veterans – an elite Russian counterterrorism force subordinated to the FSB, is confident that the investigation into Friday’s deadly terror attack on the Crocus concert venue will out its organizers.

“What happened today was a terrible tragedy, and I think, a link in a chain. Therefore I think Ukraine will reject responsibility. Because nobody publicly approves of terrorist attacks. But in any case, at the moment I don’t see any factor that could take us away from the Ukrainian connection. It could have been some other organization, but I have no doubt that it was provoked by the Nazis of Ukraine,” the retired Alpha captain told Sputnik.

The Kiev regime has so far publicly denied responsibility for the attack.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall and expressed solidarity with the government and the people of Russia.

"We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Moscow. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. India stands in solidarity with the government and the people of the Russian Federation in this hour of grief," he wrote on X.
