🚜 Twelve Polish farmers have barricaded themselves in the building of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development
The farmers demand that Prime Minister Donald Tusk meet them. They expect more farmers to join their protest. The farmers intend to keep the blockade up for 48 hours.
According to Tomasz Obszanski, chairman of the trade union organization of individual farmers "Solidarity", there are huge problems in the agricultural sector, and "the government is doing absolutely nothing to solve them."
Two weeks ago, farmers signed an agreement with Siekierski and Deputy Minister Michal Kolodziejczak that stipulates that the head of the department will appeal to Prime Minister Donald Tusk with a request to stop the transit of agricultural products from Ukraine through Polish territory.
The provisions of the agreement were supposed to come into force on April 1, but, according to media reports, farmers learned that nothing had been done in this respect.

France will prepare 1,500 troops in April to be sent to Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said.
At the end of February, French President Emmanuel Macron, after a meeting with the heads of European countries, announced that he would allow troops to be sent to Ukraine. According to him, France has "no limits and no red lines" on the issue of assistance to Ukraine. The United States and Germany are against sending troops.
Earlier, Sergei Naryshkin, director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), spoke about the training of 2,000 French military personnel to be sent to Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has repeatedly stated that the Kiev regime is using foreign mercenaries as “cannon fodder”, and the Russian military will continue to target and eliminate them throughout the conflict zone.

"New information is emerging about the preparation by Paris of a military contingent to be sent to Ukraine. To this end, the command of the French Foreign Legion in early March approved the composition of a battalion-tactical group of about 1.5 thousand people," Zakharova said at a briefing.

🥴 The US State Department mixed up Switzerland and Sweden while announcing Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. The post has now been deleted.
Confusing Switzerland and Sweden seems to be a characteristic trick of US authorities; President Joe Biden has also made this mistake.

Why transfer of US-led Ukraine arms group to NATO won’t go smoothly
NATO is looking to assume control over the Ukraine Defense Contact Group that coordinates the shipment of weapons to the Kiev regime, Politico has reported, citing unnamed sources. However, transferring this US-led group to NATO will most likely be a tricky task because of an array of factors:
▪️US funding for Ukraine has dried up, with the Pentagon signaling in December that it would not be able to send more weapons until Congress appropriated additional funds, including the now-stalled $95 billion supplemental package, which includes money for Kiev;
▪️With Joe Biden’s approval ratings plummeting ahead of the November election, former US President Donald Trump may be re-elected. According to the New York Times, there is “enormous uncertainty and anxiety” throughout Europe and among “American supporters of the country’s traditional foreign-policy role” that if reelected, Trump may withdraw the US from NATO;
▪️Some NATO members, such as Hungary, have opposed the idea of providing Ukraine with weapons;
▪️There are those who have been wary of any steps that would imply NATO’s direct role in the Ukrainian conflict. Moscow has repeatedly warned that the US and its NATO allies that sending military supplies to Kiev makes the alliance part to the conflict;
▪️The upcoming 2024 European Parliament elections may see “a major shift to the right in many countries,” which is “likely to have significant consequences for European-level policies” and “will affect the foreign policy choices that the EU can make,” not least the Ukraine aid, according to the European Council on Foreign Relations.

Did Israel bomb aid workers by accident?
US President Joe Biden said on April 2 that he was "outraged and heartbroken" by the Israeli military strike on the World Central Kitchen (WCK) aid convoy in Gaza on April 1. Tel Aviv "has not done enough to protect aid workers," he said. Three Brits, as well as an Australian, Palestinian, Pole and US-Canadian, were killed in the strike.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed the Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) strike on the convoy was "unintentional". Was it really?
◾️ According to WCK, their team had coordinated with the Israeli military and had clearance to use the route.
◾️ The WCK convoy consisted of three cars, two of them were armored and had the group's frying pan logo on the roof.
◾️ According to the Washington Post, the victims were wearing bulletproof vests in armored cars, because earlier they reportedly complained about being targeted by an IDF sniper.
◾️ While WaPo cites one sound of explosion heard by a medical technician with the Palestine Red Crescent at around 9:30 pm (local time), Al Jazeera’s Sanad Verification Agency concludes there were three separate strikes.
◾️ Per Al Jazeera's investigators, after the first car was hit by an IDF projectile, the injured were brought to another car belonging to the group. The second vehicle was struck around 800 meters away from the first hit. The third car was bombed about 1.6 kilometers away from the second car.
◾️ Israeli media outlet Haaretz cited defense sources familiar with the details, claiming that the IDF targeted the convoy because of suspicion that a Hamas member was with it.

🔥 Russia's Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower systems eliminate Ukrainian temporary deployment points on the Dnepr River's right bank
The system crews secretly advanced to a combat position and, after darkness fell, sent fire towards the enemy on the right bank of the Dnepr River, burning out all enemy fortifications with thermobaric charges over an area of up to 40,000 square meters, leaving the enemy not the slightest chance of salvation.

EXPOSED. ‘Poor Ukrainian youth’: Lower mobilization age drives Ukrainians to realize Maidan led to unwanted, endless dictatorial terror
Zelensky's new law on reducing the mobilization age from 27 to 25, Sputnik has discovered upon examining comments of Ukrainians on X (formerly Twitter).
◾️ Some people assume the number of draft dodgers will surge (photo 1), and it's possible for individuals as young as 16 years old to leave the country (photo 2).
◾️ Others recall Zelensky's rhetoric to fight for "500 meters every day". Others lament the plight of the "poor Ukrainian youth' (photo 3).
◾️ Netizens also predict that Zelensky will soon mobilize even 18-year-olds (photo 4). They are ominously warning about a demographic crisis that will widen once the mobilization age is lowered again (photo 5).
◾️ Moreover, some users are surprised that Zelensky adopted this law just as his term was coming to an end, suggesting it was “intentional sabotage” (photo 6). Others view this move as an extreme measure to get rid of those who witnessed his power grab (photo 7).
◾️ Lastly, some netizens have observed that the Maidan protests that occurred 10 years ago have led to the emergence of "an eternal dictator, increased violence, closed borders, and terror on the streets" (photo 8).
