Starbucks is reportedly eyeing the deletion of its official account on Facebook due to ‘frustration’ over online 'hate'.

The coffee chain addressed its concerns to the social media platform, saying that it feels extremely “frustrated” by "toxic" user rhetoric on the network, as Starbucks’ social media marketing workers struggle to moderate hateful comments on company posts.

If Starbucks removes its Facebook page, it would become the largest company to date to do so.

A Texas sheriff slammed the Biden administration for "forcing" the state's National Guard to clean up trash left by illegal immigrants trying to enter the United States.

According Andy Louderback, the border area is "littered completely" with trash, and there is also an "incredible amount" of clothing, water bottles and backpacks lying on the ground. The border vicinity also faces "car crashes, increased deaths, exploitation of women, and environmental concerns", he added.

On Wednesday, US President Biden is due to meet House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy for the first time since taking office on 20 January.

The Hill reports that the sit-down may help unite the two leaders over their desire to drive progress.

McCarthy told reporters in April that he’d requested meetings with Biden “a number of times,” the first time on 5 March. The president, however, “never even acknowledged them”.
💻 The FBI confirmed on Monday that DarkSide ransomware is responsible for the breach of one of the US' largest pipeline operators, Colonial Pipeline.

Colonial Pipeline said Friday that it halted all pipeline operations and took some systems offline to contain the threat from a cyberattack.

A malware reportedly encrypted files on computers, making them unavailable until a ransom is paid.
