Protesters demand that the Armenian leader resign near the Government House in the country’s capital

The rally, organized by representatives of Vahagn Chakhalyan's “Kamk” (The Will) initiative, also calls to put an end to Armenia’s policy of concessions and not transferring the territories in Tavush to Azerbaijan.

On April 19, Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed on the demarcation of part of the border, according to which four villages that had been under Armenian control since the early 1990s will be passed over to Azerbaijan's administration.

▪️The United States is the most powerful driving force of space militarization and the biggest threat to space security, the Chinese Foreign Ministry told Sputnik.

▪️They also said that the US openly defines outer space as a combat zone, provoking confrontation between countries.

▪️China calls on the United States to stop spreading false statements and building weapons in space, the Chinese Foreign Ministry added.

Earlier, John Plumb, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Outer Space Policy, accused Russia and China of developing and deploying anti-space weapons. In this regard, China has refused further consultations with the United States on nuclear arms control since the last negotiations in November last year.

Are you sure, Joe? Biden berates Japan, China, and Russia for being ‘xenophobic’

Biden has blamed America’s ally Japan for being reluctant to welcome migrants, something that he argued also pertains to China and Russia.

“You know, one of the reasons our economy is growing is because of you and many others. Why? Because we welcome immigrants. The reason - think about it - why is China stalling so bad economically? Why is Japan having trouble? Why is Russia, why is anyone? Because they’re xenophobic, they don’t want immigrants,” Biden said during a campaign fundraising event in Washington.

Nearly 7.3 million migrants have crossed the US' southern border illegally since the 46th president took office in 2021, a flow that shows no signs of abating.

When it comes to Japan, the number of foreigners residing in this East Asian country soared to a record high of 3.4 million in December 2023, a 10-percent increase compared to 2022.

Russian President Putin, for his part, recalled in March 2024 that his country remains “a multi-ethnic and multi-confessional country,” as he urged respect for “our brothers” - representatives of other faiths - living in Russia.

Why does US want South Korea in AUKUS?

South Korea may soon follow Japan and participate in AUKUS’ Pillar II advanced capability projects, to include quantum computing, hypersonic, artificial intelligence, and undersea capabilities, among others.

Here’s why South Korea is critical to US efforts to maintain its hegemony in Asia:

▪️The Biden administration hopes to capitalize on South Korea’s robust semiconductor industry. As AI-equipped warships, fighter jets and other weapons increase, South Korea’s mass production of next-generation chips is important for the US military’s supply chains.

▪️South Korea is emerging as a major arms supplier, going so far as to send howitzers and ammunition in support of NATO’s proxy war in Ukraine.

▪️Due to its strategic location and capabilities, US can use South Korea to threaten China and North Korea. South Korea already hosts more than 28,000 US troops and the intermediate-range THAAD missile defense system.

Odessa Massacre 10 years on: radicals burned people alive to terrify Ukraine into submission “They were looking to intimidate people – not just disperse them, but intimidate them. And not only the residents of Odessa, but of all of Ukraine” to crush opponents…

Ten years ago, on May 2, 2014, in the Odessa House of Trade Unions, Ukrainian pro-US neo-Nazis burned protesters who opposed the violent Maidan coup d'etat alive.

This crime was one of the first bloody acts of the Kiev regime that foreshadowed future atrocities.

Ukrainian politicians who opposed new illegal authorities and slammed the pro-Western course would suggest later that the Odessa massacre was a carefully planned message to dissenters that was likely masterminded by the Western backers of Kiev.

The crime was never investigated properly and Western politicians turned a blind eye to the gruesome murder of 48 people.

More NATO madness from Macron

Florian Philippot, leader of the French Patriots party, called Emmanuel Macron a madman after his announcement that France could send troops to Ukraine to fight Russia.

"New bout of madness from the madman Macron who has just announced again that he can 'send ground troops against Russia'! He would do this, in particular, 'at the request of Ukraine'! Stop these totally irresponsible statements that could lead us to the worst!" Philippot wrote on X.

Earlier, the French president claimed that he was still holding on to the idea of possibly sending troops to Ukraine:

"If Russia breaks through the front lines, if there is a request from Ukraine, which is not the case today, we will legitimately have to ask ourselves this question," he said in an interview with the Economist.

Why is the US trying to kill Russia's Arctic LNG-2 project?

The US is making great efforts to torpedo Russia's Arctic LNG-2 gas liquefaction project primarily because the two countries remain "direct competitors" in this field, Stanislav Mitrakhovich, a leading expert with the National Energy Security Fund and the Russian government's Financial University, told Sputnik.

"In fact, both Russia and the United States produce liquefied natural gas (LNG). In this sense, we are even bigger competitors than in the oil market. American oil can somehow replace Russian crude, but as for LNG, America plans to produce it in very large quantities. In the next ten years, the United States will introduce new capacities for liquefying natural gas," Mitrakhovich said.

He noted that "the Americans are trying to delay the possibility of reviving the [Arctic LNG-2] project as long as possible. At the same time, the expert made it clear that the U.S. is not in a position to "completely kill Russia's LNG industry.

As long as Russia "has its own basic feature in the form of a scientific and technical base, there will be opportunities for development and they will be seized," Mitrakhovich said.

"Besides, Russia is supported by China, which is quite obvious. Because if Russia were to lose this confrontation, China would be facing the West alone. China doesn't need that. This is an absolutely fundamental factor. And with the help of this factor, I think the problem will be solved.”

The comment comes shortly after the US State Department announced a series of sanctions against four companies, including two foreign ones, and 16 vessels linked to the Arctic LNG-2 project developed by Russia's Novatek.

Russia will adapt to the ATACMS missiles that Kiev recently received in a couple of months, admitted Ivan Stupak, adviser to the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security.

He noted that the Russian military generally adapts quickly. As an example, Stupak cited counteraction to Excalibur shells - their accuracy decreased from 70% to 6% due to Russian electronic warfare.
