Meadows appeared to change his mind over the committee having "no intention of respecting boundaries concerning Executive Privilege".
🗣 "Over the last several weeks, Mr. Meadows has consistently sought in good faith to pursue an accommodation with the Select Committee and up until yesterday we believed that could be obtained", the letter from Meadows' attorney George Terwilliger read. "We acted on the belief that the Select Committee would receive, also in good faith, relevant, responsive but non-privileged facts".

▪️Biden told Putin that in case of escalation in Ukraine, the US will strengthen NATO's eastern flank;
▪️ The White House is preparing "active, clear" responses to a possible Russian escalation in Ukraine, the US maintains daily contact with the EU on possible sanctions;
▪️ US expects Nord Stream 2 to be stopped if Russia invades Ukraine, this is leverage;
▪️ The United States and its allies are considering the option of complete isolation of Russia from the global financial system with consequences for business and the population;
▪️ Biden did not make Putin commitments that Ukraine would remain outside NATO, and said that no one has the right to dictate to NATO who should not be accepted into the alliance
