The drone Akıncı sent by Turkiye to participate in the search for the crashed helicopter carrying the Iranian president has entered Iranian airspace, according to Flightradar24.

Akıncı's flight is the most tracked flight on the portal, with more than 30,000 people following it.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has confirmed the dispatch of a group of rescuers to search for Iranian President Raisi's helicopter.

The group includes 47 specialists, high-clearance equipment, as well as a BO-105 helicopter for the search from the air. Specialists of the combined group of Ministry's "Tsentrospas" detachment and "Leader" centre are on standby.

Special equipment is being loaded at Zhukovsky airport near Moscow and preparations are under way for the flight to Iran's Tabriz.

Vladimir Putin is closely monitoring the situation with the Iranian president's helicopter that made a hard landing, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Necessary instructions have been given to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Russian Defence Ministry, helicopter groups for the search and rescue operation have been prepared," he said.

Peskov also specified that helicopter groups and a team of 60 rescuers have been prepared for the search and rescue operation in Iran.

The IRGC confirmed that the heat source detected by the Turkish Akıncı drone is believed to be the wreckage of President Raisi's helicopter, Press TV reports.

It is noted that rescue teams are heading to the suspected crash site.

US congressman says cutting Harvard's federal funding over protests should be ‘on the table’

Rep. Jake Achuincloss (D-MA) said during a televised interview that cutting federal funding to Harvard should be “on the table” in response to what he claims is antisemitism on the campus of the Ivy League school.

“It needs to be on the table,” Achuincloss, a Harvard graduate, said on Fox News Sunday. “Harvard and other universities have unfortunately become ransacked by antisemitism.”

To support his assertion, Achuincloss pointed to the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) Campus Antisemitism Report Card which gave Harvard and 12 other top schools failing grades, judging them on three main criteria: “Jewish life on campus,” “incidents on campus” and “administrative actions and policies.”

While the report noted good services for Jewish students on Harvard’s campus, it nevertheless received an F from the ADL, largely due to the protests on campus which were attended and in some cases led by Jewish organizations.
