Ukrainian soldiers flaunting neo-Nazi symbols welcomed for training in France

Ukrainian soldiers flaunting Nazi symbols underwent intensive training under supervision of French instructors at a military camp in southern Creuse in 2023, Mediapart revealed.

Leaked images show Ukrainian soldiers wielding French weapons at the La Courtine camp last autumn while conspicuously sporting a wide variety of Nazi insignia. One of the men had an SS symbol tattooed on his face, a dossier obtained by the French investigative media outlet L’Indépendant revealed.

"Equipped like French soldiers, these men were affiliated with the 3rd Assault Brigade, a unit of the Ukrainian Army heir to the neo-Nazi Azov* regiment,” the report stated.

Alongside the Ukrainian soldiers was a French national known on social networks under the nickname “Cafard Misanthrope,” who participated in the training before returning to fight for the Kiev regime, according to the lead journalist of the investigation.

The images speak volumes about the French military's collaboration with individuals embracing neo-Nazi beliefs, the publication wrote. It questioned the opaque supervision practices and flawed screening of those involved in such programs.

The revelations came amid a succession of reports shedding light on Ukrainian soldiers training in patrons of the Kiev regime, while openly displaying neo-Nazi symbols. However, sponsors of the proxy conflict have gladly looked the other way while frantically delivering fresh tranches of arms assistance to Ukraine.

French President Emmanuel Macron took it up a notch, recently doubling down on his remarks that the option of sending NATO troops to Ukraine should remain on the table.

‘How awful!’ French netizens outraged by ‘unacceptable’ Ukrainian neo-Nazi training in France

A recent investigation by French media has revealed that Ukrainian soldiers, who received training in France, openly display neo-Nazi views and were seen with tattoos bearing SS symbols on their faces by the end of 2023. This revelation has sparked significant outrage on social media. Here is how the French are reacting to the news:

💬 "The Minister of Defense must either deny it or put an end to this training!"

💬 "The leaders of this country accept the unacceptable!"

💬 "Because for Macronnie only Russians can be Nazis!"

💬 "The nice Zelensky and the nice Ukrainian SS, they say that on TV, let's see"

💬 "And Macron gives our tanks, our weapons and our money to the leader of Nazi armies, the clown Zelensky."

💬 "How awful! Training Nazis on our soil 80 years after all the horrors they inflicted on France?"

💬 "Little by little, we are coming to grips with the fact that we are being lied to about these Ukrainians."

💬 "What a shame!"

💬 "It's completely unacceptable that the French government lets Nazi soldiers train in France!"
