EXPOSED: Age of Ukrainian military casualties rising along with count

Over the past few weeks, there has been a surge in social media posts regarding missing soldiers who are over 45 years old in various search groups for mobilized Ukrainians. Sputnik has discovered that the oldest among these missing servicemen is 58 years old.

◾️ Similar messages popped up earlier, but during May, they became noticeably more numerous and frequent. The majority of these individuals reportedly went missing while on combat missions in the Pokrovsky district in the western region of the Donetsk People's Republic. Additionally, there are reports of similar occurrences in the Rabotino and Artemovsk areas.

◾️ The predominant age of the soldiers in question is between 45 and 50 years old, with the oldest being 58.

◾️ Announcements requesting information on missing mobilized individuals are primarily posted in group chats on social media by their immediate relatives such as wives, children, and sisters. These posts typically include photographs of the missing person in military uniform and details about when they were last contacted.

Mega mercs of Omega: Unit tied to murderous Ukrainian spy chief hiding 'hired guns' from French, Spanish armies (part 1)

◾️The Omega special unit, a part of the Foreign Legion within the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, is a front for the work of mercenaries. This includes militants from the French and Spanish legions, which are affiliated with the French and Spanish armies, Sputnik has discovered.

◾️Omega is a specialized unit within the GUR International legion, with Sputnik previously highlighting its associated unit, Rogue. The unit’s symbol is the Greek letter Omega surrounded by olive branches, a distinctive emblem seen on the chevrons and tattoos of its fighters (see photo 1).

◾️As per Omega's social media updates, the mercenaries are currently active in Chasov Yar (see photo 2). However, reports indicate that Budanov, the leader of the Ukrainian GUR, has relocated his mercenary legion to the Kharkov area in response to the Russian forces advancing in that region. Despite this, there have been no reports of sightings or actions by the mercenary unit near Kharkov, suggesting a lack of success or progress on their part.

◾️Omega mercenaries have acknowledged on their social media accounts that among their ranks are military personnel not only from the French Foreign Legion, but also from the Spanish Legion, which are parts of French and Spanish armies (refer to photo 3).

Mega mercs of Omega: Unmasking Spanish 'guns for hire' tied to murderous Ukrainian spy chief (part2)

◾️One of the most “socially active” members of the Spanish Legion is Perez Jurado Hector. In photos featuring him with other mercenaries, he does not conceal his face or his affiliation (see photos 4,5). In April 2024, he was even bestowed with the "Badge of Honor" award from the State Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (see photo 6).

◾️One of the photos shows Perez Jurado Hector posing in the combat zone while donning a respirator (photo 7). Its purpose is unknown.

◾️Another photo features his colleague, a member of the Spanish Legion in the Omega unit known as Willy, posing in full uniform in the corridor of what appears to be a residential building (photo 8). The broken front door displays pro-Russian symbols.
