Thousands of NATO troops on Belarus border, heightening tensions – Belarusian Military
Ten NATO battalion tactical groups remain stationed near Belarus's border with European Union member states, Belarusian Chief of the General Staff Pavel Muraveiko said Sunday.
Muraveiko recalled there is an adage that goes, "nothing is more permanent than something temporary," adding that such proximity is "bothering and straining."
The official added that the situation encourages Belarus to carefully evaluate every action taken by NATO troops, claiming the country is "studying the techniques and methods" they employ.
The Union State country has closely allied with Moscow in its military operation in the Donbass, with President Alexander Lukashenko offering strong political support.

"Today we have 10 NATO battalion tactical groups with a total strength of over 20,000 people located near our border," the First Deputy Defense Minister told All-National Television. "Six of these groups are American. Why fly here from overseas and deploy a contingent here? They said it was temporary."

Biden family urges him to stay in the race despite debate setback — NYT
President Biden’s family is rallying behind him to stay in the race despite last week’s challenging debate performance, according to publication's sources.
"One of the strongest voices urging Mr. Biden to resist dropping out was his son Hunter Biden, whom the president has long turned to for counsel," authors indicate. There's no reason to doubt the publication source's words since Biden publicly praised his son, calling him "the smartest man" he knows (video).

"While his relatives were acutely aware of how poorly he did against former President Donald J. Trump, they argued that he could still show the country that he remains capable of serving for another four years," the publication writes.

This day in history: Nazis, Ukrainian nationalists launch massive pogrom in Lvov
A dark chapter in Ukraine’s history was written 83 years ago today when Stepan Bandera’s Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN)* launched a violent campaign against the Jewish population of the city of Lvov.
On June 30, 1941, the OUN seized control of Lvov, covering the city with antisemitic propaganda advocating violence against Jews and other ethnic minorities. Anti-Jewish violence reached a crescendo as nationalist authorities attempted to ingratiate themselves to the Nazi occupiers, with OUN militias arresting and executing thousands of Jews.
Crowds of local Poles and Ukrainians joined in the violence as Nazi SS death squads initiated their own antisemitic campaign, subjecting victims to rape, beatings, and robbery.
Altogether some 6,000 Jews were murdered during several days of persecution, many of whom had fled the Nazis from other parts of Eastern Europe. After the pogrom OUN militias would work directly under Nazi Einsatzgruppen leaders. The incident was typical of the racist violence of Bandera’s nationalist Ukrainian Insurgent Army, which sought to establish a totalitarian, ethnically homogenous fascist dictatorship in Ukraine.
Although he has been lionized as a national hero in the years since the Maidan regime’s seizure of power in Ukraine a decade ago, the historical record is clear: Bandera was a brutal Nazi collaborator who enabled the death of millions as Hitler’s army swept through Eastern Europe.
President Vladimir Putin has clarified that denazification is a non-negotiable demand of any peace agreement with Ukraine, with Moscow insisting that extremist nationalists must be removed from power at all levels of government. The Kiev regime has killed thousands of ethnic Russians in violence targeted against civilians in eastern Ukraine since 2014’s Maidan coup ushered in a Russophobic US puppet regime.

US Justice Department to charge Boeing with criminal fraud – report
The US Department of Justice will indict US aerospace company Boeing on criminal fraud charges over its alleged breach of a 2021 deferred prosecution agreement, a source familiar with the matter told Sputnik.
The source said Sunday that Boeing will face one charge of defrauding the US government regarding the safety of its planes.
The Justice Department notified Boeing in May that it was subject to criminal prosecution after it determined the company had breached a 2021 agreement to avoid criminal charges for two fatal 737 MAX crashes in 2018 and 2019. Under the agreement, Boeing paid $2.5 billion in penalties and vowed to improve its safety and compliance protocols.
But federal prosecutors recently recommended to senior Justice Department officials that Boeing be prosecuted for failing to improve the safety of its aircraft after a series of mishaps this year, including a door panel that blew off an Alaska Airlines flight shortly after takeoff.

South Korean military says DPRK fired two ballistic missiles
North Korea launched two ballistic missiles, including a short-range one, eastward Monday, South Korean news agency Yonhap reported citing the country’s Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The short-range ballistic missile flew about 600 kilometers (372 miles) while another missile flew about 120 kilometers (74 miles), the report added.
On Wednesday the DPRK reportedly launched an unspecified ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan. Citing a military source, Yonhap later reported Pyongyang had test-fired a hypersonic missile, but the test apparently failed since the missile only flew about 250 kilometers (155 miles).
On Thursday North Korean state-run news agency KCNA reported that the North Korean Missile Administration had "successfully" carried out a separation and guidance control test of individual mobile warheads one day prior.
