Russian specialists have extracted parts of the control and guidance system of the Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles, an engineer and weapons expert told Sputnik.

A thorough examination of the downed Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles continues. At this point, the control equipment … has been dismantled. This data provides objective control of the missile overflight system, possible air defense countermeasures systems to better counter these targets," the expert said.

A detailed study of fuse schemes and warhead design of Storm Shadow missiles is currently underway, he added. "These are necessary works for neutralization [of missiles]. In order to carry out transportation of these combat units and destroy them outside populated areas," the expert said.

🥴 This video shows that Joe Biden still actually has unbending apologists, but they seem to lose arguments in real cringy ways:

US actress and comedian Whoopi Goldberg: “I don't care if he’s pooped his pants. I don't care if he can't put a sentence together. Show me he can't do the job, and then I'll say, okay, maybe it's time to go… I have poopy days all the time. All the time.”

The US has set its sights on engineering regime change in Georgia in the run-up to the coming parliamentary elections on October 26, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service says.

According to the service, the White House has initiated a campaign to undermine the ruling Georgian Dream party. This propaganda crusade will focus on blaming Russia for all of Georgia’s troubles.

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili is expected to play a significant role in this gambit. She will give an interview to American media, criticizing the government for the breakdown in negotiations for Tbilisi's EU membership and cautioning about the “catastrophic consequences of rapprochement with Moscow,” the Foreign Intelligence Service says.

The string-pullers and handlers in Washington have already given the command to Georgia's opposition to start fomenting nationwide protests, the security agency emphasized.

New ploy for forced connoscription? ‘Ukrainian Legion’ comes to Poland

"There are no volunteers seeking to participate in hostilities among the citizens of Ukraine who fled to EU countries," Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of National Defense magazine, told Sputnik, commenting on the formation of the new Ukrainian Legion in Poland. "Everyone who theoretically had the motivation to participate in the conflict would have returned to Ukraine a long time ago."

A security agreement signed by Zelensky and Polish PM Donald Tusk on July 8 provides for the creation and training of a so-called Ukrainian Legion. This new formation will recruit Ukrainian "volunteers" temporarily residing in Poland and other EU countries.

In April, Poland and Lithuania teamed up to "assist" the Kiev regime by pushing for potential draft dodgers to be sent home. For months, EU member states had fended off Kiev's demand to send back Ukrainian men eligible for mobilization, citing European conventions that do not allow for extradition due to desertion or draft evasion.

Speaking to reporters back in April, Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz and his Lithuanian counterpart Laurynas Kasciunas divulged potential strategies for repatriating Ukrainians without resorting to deportation measures. Among the options were proposals to restrict access to social benefits, work permits, and official documents, as well as enacting special laws targeting Ukrainian refugees.

Apparently, the Ukrainian Legion is yet another "legal" loophole to send Ukrainian refugees to the front lines, according to Korotchenko.

"We are not talking about forced extradition, what we are talking about is forced enlistment in this foreign legion," he underscored. "Human rights activists will obviously not be interested in whether [Ukrainians] enlist voluntarily. These procedures would de facto mean forced extradition after they join the legion. The mechanism that is taking shape is absolutely illegal, but has a veneer of legitimacy."

❗️Statements by representatives of the Kiev regime about an allegedly intentional missile strike by Russia on civilian targets are absolutely untrue, Russia's Ministry of Defense has said. Numerous published photos and video footage from Kiev clearly confirm…
💬 Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the situation regarding the strike on the children’s hospital in Kiev, referred to the statement of the Ministry of Defense, “which absolutely excludes that there were attacks on any civilian targets and which states that we are talking about the fall of an anti-missile.”

We firmly insist that we do not attack civilian targets. Strikes are carried out against critical infrastructure facilities, against military targets in one way or another related to the military potential of the [Kiev] regime”.
