Addressing Zelensky, Mick Wallace said that history would not spare Zelensky as he has contributed to many devastating deeds:
"You've contributed to the destruction of Ukraine, contributed to the death of hundreds of thousands of working-class Ukrainians, contributed to the fire sale of Ukrainian land to Western corporations, contributed to a US-NATO Proxy War — History will not be kind to you, Zelensky," Wallace wrote on X.

"Drag queens, a mockery of the Last Supper - sum up the modern-day elites in Paris... if that's the showcase for France with this big global event, it's a very, very sad, very poor reflection," the British politician said.

US push for new corridor from Central Asia to Europe without Russia or China
The US is considering creating a new land route from the countries of Central Asia to Europe through the territories of Armenia and Azerbaijan, bypassing Russia and China, James O'Brien, US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, stated at a hearing on "The Future of Europe" in the US Senate.
🔸 O'Brien lamented the fact that Central Asian countries' path to the global markets "is fundamentally through Russia or China".
🔸 The US official suggested a new route through Azerbaijan and Armenia, after mentioning that Baku and Yerevan have agreed to a border demarcation process, following clashes over Nagorny Karabakh.
🔸 In June, the US Trade Representative (USTR) Kathleen Tai visited Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to promote the US version of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), also known as the Middle corridor, in order to connect the region with the West - sidelining Russia and China, via a route across the Caspian and through the South Caucasus and Turkiye.
🔸 In January, European and international investors pledged to commit $10.8 billion to support "Middle corridor connectivity" between Europe and Central Asia.
🔸 A website of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" launched by Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia, presents another version of TITR, which includes routes to and from Southeast Asia and China, as a crucial part of the project.
🔸 Georgia's Anaklia deep sea port, built by a Chinese-led consortium, is named by regional players as an important part of TITR. However, the US is up in arms about China's role in building the port.
🔸 Apparently, the US is seeking to substitute Georgia with Armenia, in its version of TITR being at odds with Georgia's ruling Georgian Dream Party.

Ex-CIA officer weighs in: Was Hamas leader Haniyeh tracked via WhatsApp?
Giraldi also assured that colleagues have informed him that these tracking techniques have proved very effective.
Although the actual role of the messenger in the process of tracking a person is not known, if true, it would not be the first time that a tech company has cooperated with a foreign intelligence service, the expert emphasizes.
But why Hamas might have continued to use such a compromised system like WhatsApp remains a mystery, Giraldi concludes.
Soon after the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in an airstrike in Tehran, Lebanese journalist Elia Manier claimed that Haniyeh had been tracked by Israeli intelligence via WhatsApp installed on his phone. The spyware made it possible to detect the exact location of the house where the Hamas leader was located and launch a missile strike on it from a drone, the journalist suggested.

Who are the two Americans prisoners who are being exchanged?
A Russian court previously found that the reporter Gershkovich was collecting classified information about the activities of metal-producer Uralvagonzavod in the Sverdlovsk region as part of a CIA assignment in March 2023.
The court likewise concluded that former Marine Whelan was trying to obtain information about cadets of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) educational institution.
There is no information yet about who the two Americans were exchanged for.

🇮🇷 Tehran's response to Haniyeh's killing will be harsher than the previous strike on Israel, Iranian analyst warns
Iran’s retaliation to Tel Aviv for killing Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran “will be more severe, more painful to the Israeli regime than what Tel Aviv experienced after it attacked the Iranian consulate in Damascus,” Seyed Mohammad Marandi, a political analyst and professor at Tehran University, tells Spuntik.
He believes that "any escalation will simply make things worse for the regime in Tel Aviv," predicting that Iran and other members of the Axis of Resistance will deliver a "major response" to recent actions by Israel.Marandi elaborates that "the Israeli regime has lost the war."
Marandi also warned that if the US were to intervene, they would "lose" and face severe consequences, including being expelled from Iraq and seeing their bases in the Persian Gulf region destroyed.
At the same time Marandi argues that only the Americans and the Europeans are able to stop the full-fledged war in the region.

"It has lost in Gaza after ten months, it has failed to take this very small piece of land. It has failed in its war with Hezbollah after almost ten months of conflict. The Israeli regime has been unable to dislodge Hezbollah from the border, and it has paid a heavy price," he says.
“They are the ones who are supporting this Holocaust. They are the ones who are enabling the regime in Tel Aviv to continue raping prisoners and murdering children. This is a war that they endorse. They are providing the funding, the ammunition, the weapons, the political cover. Without full Western support Tel Aviv would not be able to continue this war for two weeks. So we all know that the leash is in Washington, so it's up to the Americans to make a decision,” he says.

Ukraine’s oil row with Hungary and Slovakia: what is going on?
Ukraine’s relations with Hungary and Slovakia continue to deteriorate after Kiev cracked down on the transit of Russian oil to these two countries.
🔸Hungary’s and Slovakia’s oil imports got cut by about one third when Ukraine halted the transit of oil to these countries from Russian petroleum company, Lukoil, under the pretext of depriving Russia of oil revenues.
🔸Appeals by Hungary and Slovakia to the European Commission have so far yielded no result, as the latter simply claimed that this situation poses no risk to either country’s energy supply.
🔸With no help from Brussels coming, Hungary and Slovakia are now communicating with Moscow to try and figure out how to resume the flow of oil.
🔸Meanwhile, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico warned that his country may not resume shipments of diesel fuel to Ukraine, if Kiev does not resume the flow of Russian oil.
🔸Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto also promised to block the 6.5 billion euros’ worth of EU refunds to EU member states who have supplied weapons to Ukraine, if the situation with Lukoil oil supply is not resolved.
🔸Kiev, however, insists that it is not going to resume the transit of Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia, and claims that it has an understanding with Brussels in this matter.

‘Olympics glorifies men punching women in the face’: fresh boxing controversy sparks outrage
While allowing Russian athletes to compete in the Olympics is a big no-no for the International Olympics Committee, games officials apparently have no qualms about allowing female boxers to be beaten up by men if the latter identify themselves as female.
Gaines made this remark after Algeria’s Imane Khelif and Taiwan's Lin Yu-Ting – two boxers who were disqualified from the women’s world championships in New Delhi last year after failing a gender test – were allowed to compete in female boxing matches in the Paris Olympic.
Today, Khelif was declared the winner as Italy's Angela Carini abandoned the fight after just 46 seconds.
Payton McNabb, an American volleyball player who was left partially paralyzed after a transgender player from the opposing team hit her head with a ball, told media that she is “disgusted” by this situation. “It used to be illegal for men to beat up women, and now people are putting it on TV and watching it. It's such a weird reality we are living in now,” she told the MailOnline.
Australia's boxing team captain Caitlin Parker also expressed concern over Khelif and Lin being allowed to compete against women in combat sports, saying it "can be incredibly dangerous."

💬 “As if the Satanic display at the opening ceremony wasn’t enough, the Olympics glorifies men punching women in the face with the intent of knocking them unconscious,” American swimmer Riley Gaines fumed on X.

💬 “Imagine training your WHOLE life, getting good enough to earn a spot on the Olympic team, hoping to a win an Olympic medal.... then you're told you have to fight a man,” Gaines added in another post.
💬 “So punching a woman in the face is apparently ok as long as the man doing it says he’s a woman and it’s at the Olympics,” TikTok operator Chaya Raichik mused.
💬 “How brain washed does someone have to be to watch a man physically BEATING a woman and view it as anything besides MORALLY WRONG and EVIL,” another X user complained.
