They are partners in this genocide and in other conflicts across the region and across the world," Mohammad Marandi, a professor of English literature and Orientalism at the University of Tehran told Sputnik’s Fault Lines.

Now they are increasingly seeking alternatives, just like trade has moved away from the West to China and to other parts of the world," Marandi emphasized.

“No meeting occurred, no project materialized, no request for anything in the US was ever sought and only an introduction in Italy was requested,” the lawyer claimed.
