"An essential concern is the air fleet. We must build our own aircraft - reliable, high-quality, and [produced] in the quantities we need," Putin emphasized.

"The key mining centers of Yakutia and Chukotka have seen extensive development of their reserves for a long time, and are objectively limited. Meanwhile, the demand for minerals is on the rise, not only for export but also for our domestic market," the president stated.

“I am under the impression that those leading Ukraine are aliens or foreigners for their country. They do not think about the destiny of their own country suffering such heavy losses… I don't know what they will be doing in the future. It is necessary now for them to bring down the age bracket for drafting people […] Next step will be to draft students and it will bleed the country,” said Vladimir Putin at the Q&A session at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

“You have asked about the strikes against Nuclear Power Plants in Kursk and Zaporozhye. These are very hazardous and dangerous acts of terror. “This is going to be a real modern clinic and a pharmacy on wheels with cutting-edge equipment and doctors that are going to conduct different kinds of researches. They'll consult with their colleagues from the leading scientific centers of Russia.
