Why are Boeing’s workers going on strike?

For the first time in 16 years, Boeing employees went on strike. The duration of the strike is unknown, and the reason for it is the employees' disagreement with the company's management proposals.

What are the walkout’s implications?

🔸 The walkout affects some 33,000 workers predominantly from the Seattle and Portland areas that assemble Boeing's best-selling aircraft: 737 MAX, 767, and 777 jets.

🔸 The strike could cost Boeing $1 billion per week, according to US media-cited analysts.

🔸 Halted commercial airplane production at Boeing would likely affect nearly 10,000 Boeing suppliers in all US states and delay deliveries of new planes to airlines.

🔸 The previous 52-day strike by Boeing workers in 2008 racked up revenue losses of around $1.5 billion a month, according to Moody’s.

What is behind the walkout?

🔸 The tentative deal reached between Boeing and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) would have raised pay by 25% over the course of four years, as well as boosted health and retirement benefits. It offered a pledge to build Boeing's next commercial jet in the state of Washington within the four years of the contract.

🔸 In an overwhelming 94.6% vote, the IAM rank-and-file union members turned down a contract proposed by Boeing.

🔸 Boeing’s offer fell short of the workers' demand of pay raises of 40% over three years, and reinstatement of the defined benefit pension program abandoned in 2014.

🔸 Boeing said it was "ready to get back to the table to reach a new agreement."

Boeing, already struggling with $60 billion in debt, has faced scrutiny after a string of mishaps, such as the worldwide grounding of its 737 MAX aircraft in 2019/2020 in the wake of crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia, as well as the incident with a 737 MAX 9 door plug being blown out on the company's aircraft during an Alaska Airlines flight in January.

🪲 Greed, new form of religion, or compliance test: Why are Britons being forced to eat bugs? - Part 1 👉 Part 2

The UK's National Alternative Protein Innovation Centre (NAPIC) received £15 million ($19.5 million) in British taxpayer money to make insect-based proteins along with cultured meat "a sustainable and nutritious part" of Britons' diets.

Over the past few years, the UK press has peddled the idea of embracing edible insects as an alternative to meat:

◻️ "British firms strive to create a buzz around insect farming"

◻️ "Edible insects and lab-grown meat are on the menu"

◻️ "Would you eat insects if they were tastier?"

◻️ "Why it’s time to embrace edible insects"

🗺 Where did the idea of eating insects originate?

Entomophagy, or eating insects, has been actively promoted at the World Economic Forum (WEF), which insists that the consumption of insects "can offset climate change in many ways" and prevent the "impending food crisis," as the world's population is set to reach 9.7 billion people by 2050, with just 4% of arable land remaining available.

👤 Who’s driving the bug business?

EnviroFlight (US), Innovafeed (France), HEXAFLY (Ireland), Protix (Netherlands), Global Bugs (Thailand), Entomo Farms (Canada), and Ynsect (France) are named as key players in the market.
Insect protein firms are attracting hefty investments from global foundations and food giants.

◻️ In 2012, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation granted $100,000 to All Things Bugs to explore insect food production benefits. Indeed, the New York Post has nailed US globalist billionaires' attempts to control food and agriculture. According to the newspaper, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg are investing in "alternative protein." Gates, an advocate of entomophagy, has amassed about 270,000 acres across the US.

◻️ In 2017, Protix raised $50.5 million in equity and debt funding, marking the largest investment in the industry at the time.

◻️ ADM and Cargill invested a whopping $250 million in the French insect protein firm Innovafeed in September 2022.

◻️ In 2023, the US food giant Tyson poured around $58 million into Protix.

🌐 Globalists want to control people by controlling food - Part 2 👉 Part 1

The fuss around eating insects has been created artificially.

According to some estimates, the edible insect market reached $3.8 billion in 2024, and is projected to amount to $9.04 billion by 2029. But it pales in comparison with the fresh meat market, which amounts to $1.11 trillion as of 2024, and is set to expand further. What's more, the edible insect market doesn't offer high margins amid low consumer acceptance.

Insects can also be toxic, but entomophagy proponents don't care

◻️ Scientists warn that the consumption of edible insects with chitin exoskeletons could result in allergic reactions, particularly in people with asthma, hay fever, or allergic skin rashes.

◻️ Edible insects, including those approved by the EU, are often infected by pathogens and parasites, a 2019 study by researchers from the University of Warmia and Mazury, Poland, concluded.

🗣 What does the Western public say?

Insects have never been part of Western societies' diet. A 2023 YouGov survey showed that 18% of Americans would be willing to eat whole bugs, while 25% would agree to eat food made with insects. Nonetheless, entomophagy is being rammed down their throats by the WEF, media, and Hollywood stars (like Nicole Kidman and Angelina Jolie) eating bugs on camera.

Then-Fox News host Tucker Carlson in 2023 investigated the environmentalist push to eat "creepy crawlers" and suggested that it's a "compliance test" similar to excessive COVID restrictions.

"It's all a new religion… We have to be fearful and scared for COVID, for nitrogen, for carbon dioxide, for [Vladimir] Putin… and meanwhile these people who are in power, now they do whatever they want," Dutch politician Wybren van Haga said.

"Our politicians know that when they control the food, they control the people," Dutch political activist Eva Vlaardingerbroek told Carlson.

‘Literally playing with fire’: World reacts to Putin’s warning on NATO long-range missiles for Ukraine

Reactions have poured in to President Putin’s stark warning Thursday that a decision by NATO countries to greenlight the Kiev regime’s use of Western long-range strike systems to attack targets deep inside Russia would land the alliance in a technical state of war with Russia.

💬 The White House chose to pretend Putin’s warning didn’t exist, with Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre telling reporters she wouldn’t “get into hypotheticals” or “internal policy deliberations” after being asked how “concerned” Washington should be.

💬 British opposition politician David Kurten called on NATO to immediately “de-escalate the Ukraine conflict and end hostility with Russia.”

💬 French opposition politician Florian Philippot accused NATO of trying to trigger WW3 before the US election, where a Trump victory “would be a catastrophe for the hawks,” and said that Putin showed he “understands this well” with his comments.

“Putin has warned that this would mean a NATO-Russia war, in other words a world war! France must withdraw from this total madness!” Philippot urged.

💬 SpaceX, Tesla and X CEO Elon Musk took to social media to say he has “a very bad feeling about this.” “Yeah, same,” wrote X Spaces star Mario Nawfal. “Me too,” entrepreneur and internet influencer Kim Dotcom wrote.

“We are literally playing with fire,” foreign policy analyst and US Army combat vet David Davis said in a YouTube analysis, warning those Western leaders don’t seem to understand that their actions are edging the planet toward a massive conflict.

💬 “The Red line is clear as day. The ball is now in NATO’s court. Let’s pray they know what they’re doing,” independent Irish journalist Chay Bowes tweeted. “It now seems obvious that Zelensky’s ‘victory plan’ is to lose. To lose so badly, that his embarrassed ‘partners’ will have to drag us to the brink of WW3 to save his sniveling dictatorship,” he added.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a new dental care plan on his X account

"No one should skip the dentist because they can’t afford it. We created the Canadian Dental Care Plan so everyone can get the care they need," Trudeau wrote.

But people don't seem seem happy about it in the comments:

💬 “People can’t afford food but hey you can go to the dentist.”

“Does this apply to everyone living in the many tent cities you have created in Canada under your leadership??”

💬 “Perhaps if you didn't tax Canadians to death with your carbon tax, they could afford to pay for their own dental care?”

💬 “Canadians visiting food banks in record numbers, housing crises making home ownership a pipe dream for generations of Canadians, rampant inflation driving down wages and spending power, but at least a few freeloaders can have their neighbour pay for their trip to the dentist.”

💬 “Tell that to the seniors living in tents. They’d rather have a tooth ache than vote you back in.”

Ukraine ill-equipped, unable to withstand Russia's potential retaliation - reports

Even if the US and UK approve the use of long-range weapons targeting deep into Russia’s territory, the Kiev regime remains inadequately equipped to handle Moscow's severe retaliation, The Telegraph speculated.

Ukraine has “relatively few” Storm Shadow missiles left after using up many of the British-made missiles to attack Russia’s Crimea, defense sources told the outlet. The US should consider deploying “backup” consisting of “further weapons, not troops,” it cited Victoria Spartz, a US congresswoman of Ukrainian descent, as saying.

The Zelensky regime has repeatedly used the Franco-British Storm Shadow cruise missiles, which boast a striking range of 250 kilometers, to attack civilian infrastructure of the Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, Crimea, and the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea fleet in Sevastopol.

US President Joe Biden and UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer are mulling giving Ukraine the go-ahead to use long-range weapons against Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has cautioned NATO members to be cognizant of the consequences of permitting Kiev to target locations deep inside Russia using missile systems supplied by the West. Additionally, Moscow has suggested it may consider supplying long-range missiles to nations classified as adversaries by the West.

Spy hunters: Russia’s silent war on Western intel agents disguised as diplomats

Russia expelled 6 employees of the British Foreign Office Eastern Europe and Central Asia Directorate at the UK’s Moscow Embassy on Friday over their suspected intelligence-gathering and subversive activities.

An FSB officer told media Russia the security services had grown “tired” of chasing after the spies disguised as diplomats as they roamed Moscow and neighboring cities, attended NGO events, and used young children to try to cover up their activities.

The FSB’s hunt for spies under deep diplomatic cover has been overshadowed by the broader diplomatic war between Russia and the West in recent years, which has witnessed the expulsion of hundreds of embassy and consulate personnel since 2018, and largely initiated by the US and its allies. But occasionally, when it finds evidence of malevolence, Russia is the one who knocks:

🔸 In September 2023, Moscow declared Jeffrey Sillin and David Bernstein, the first and second secretaries at the US Embassy, personae non grata, citing “illegal activity and interference in the internal affairs of Russia.”

🔸 In July 2016, Russia booted out two other US diplomats, including an individual Moscow said was a “CIA operative,” after an incident in which a Russian police guard tackled a person who tried to enter the US Embassy building, refusing to show ID and punching him in the face.

🔸 In May 2013, Russia declared junior US diplomat Ryan Christopher Fogle persona non grata after catching him in the act trying to recruit a Russian national to spy for the US. Fogle’s expulsion was accompanied by the release of comical footage shot by the FSB of the Jason Bourne wannabe’s gear, including wigs, a map of Moscow, and stacks of €500 notes.

🔸 In January 2006, the FSB uncovered a British spy ring consisting of four intel agents under diplomatic cover, seizing an electronic spy device disguised as a rock, and arresting a Russian national attempting to make radio contact with them using the rock.
