Ukrainian Special Ops Forces posting job ads for troops and officers
The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF), one of the elite sections of the armed forces, are recruiting highly-specialized soldiers and even unit commanders on Ukraine’s largest job search sites, Sputnik has discovered. The job requirements turned out to be not so high.
What kind of recruits are the special forces looking for?
🔸 Several different commanders’ jobs are advertised: department commander, group commander and commander of the special purpose platoon (see photo 1-3). Salaries offered range from 28,000 to 150,000 hryvnia ($679 to $3,635). The website says applicants don’t need to send in a résumé to apply. The only qualification asked for both department commanders and special purpose platoon commanders is resistance to stress. The more senior group commander should also show initiative, discipline and teamwork.
🔸 The infamous Department of Psychological Operations propaganda unit in Kiev is looking for a new officer (photo 4). The candidate should have higher education and one year’s experience in “OSINT” or open-source intelligence plus the obligatory stress resistance. The wages are 30,000 to 150,000 hryvnia ($727 to $3,635).
🔸 The Special Events Department Officer (photo 5) only needs to have finished secondary school, but must be sociable, responsible and able to learn. The salary is the same as the previous job.
🔸 Surprisingly, both sapper engineer (photo 6) and UAV intelligence interpreter (photo 7) also only need a secondary-school diploma – and to be stress-resistant.
🔸 Scout-sniper (photo 8) only needs the ubiquitous stress resistance. The pay ranges from 35,000 to 135,000 hryvnia ($848 to $3,272).
🔸 Both mortar commander (photo 9) and senior scout-sniper (photo 10) need the secondary diploma and stress resistance.
🔸 According to the job site the Ukrainian SOF have advertised around 70 vacancies in the last month. The latest was published just several hours ago.
The use of job ads to find highly-specialized commanders and other troops is increasing, just as political leaders debate cutting the connoscription age from 25 to 18 and draft officers round up men at pop music concerts.

"This morning, peacekeepers at a position near Kafer Kela observed an IDF Merkava tank firing at their watchtower. Two cameras were destroyed, and the tower was damaged. Yet again we see direct and apparently deliberate fire on a UNIFIL position. We remind the IDF and all actors of their obligations to ensure the safety and security of UN personnel and property and to respect the inviolability of UN premises at all times," the statement said.

Missiles, subs, stealth bombers: China’s strategic deterrent 60 years on from first nuclear test
The latest additions to the PRC’s strategic deterrent include the Dongfeng-41 road-mobile ICBM, “demonstrated in recent parades of military equipment…This missile carries multiple warheads capable of hitting targets at a range up to 12,000 km,” Leonkov noted.
At sea, China is preparing “to deploy the new Type 096 Tang-class submarine, which will carry Juylang-3 ballistic missiles with a 11,000 km range, with each missile capable of carrying between six and nine thermonuclear warheads. The Type 096 will replace the Type 094 submarines,” the observer said.
“It’s important to understand that in addition to creating new missiles, China is improving its missile attack warning system,” Leonkov noted.

“China’s nuclear triad includes silo-based missile systems, sea-based ballistic missiles and cruise missiles carried by the People’s Liberation Army Air Force’s strategic bombers. All of these systems are being improved according to a specific algorithm, with some already updated and in service with China’s strategic nuclear forces,” veteran Russian military observer Alexei Leonkov told Sputnik on the 60th anniversary of China’s first nuclear test.

In the air, China is preparing to take delivery of the Xian H-20A – a new “flying wing bomber design which will serve as the main carrier of its cruise missiles,” including the Chang Jian-10A, Leonkov says.
“It’s important to understand that in addition to creating new missiles, China is improving its missile attack warning system,” Leonkov noted.
“According to the country’s nuclear doctrine, China will launch a retaliatory strike in the event of external aggression. After they improve their missile attack warning system, a [new] reciprocal strike doctrine will likely be adopted, because China today is hard at work on the technology of maneuvering hypersonic warheads for ballistic missiles,” the observer said, pointing to unveiling of the Dongfeng-17 road-mobile medium-range missile carrying the DF-ZF hypersonic glide vehicle in October 2019.

Did you know: Russia is a stone's throw from the USA
While leagues apart on the international arena, they are practically neighbors in physical world.
Two tiny islands in the Bering Strait, Big Diomede, part of Russia’s Chukotka region, and Little Diomede, Alaska, are only 3.8 kilometers (about 2 miles) apart.

Polish-Ukrainian relations keep deteriorating amid Ukraine’s losses
Poland, once one of the fiercest supporters of the Kiev regime, is seemingly backpedaling its former hawkish stance on the Ukrainian conflict, with some Polish statements shattering the idea of Western once unilateral consensus, as Russia continues to advance.
‘Ukrainian Legion’ failed
Poland recognized it failed to find enough Ukrainians refugees and volunteers to create the so-called Ukrainian legion to fight against Russia, Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz revealed.
Ukrainian refugees' luxury life in Poland
Poles have been disillusioned with Ukrainians, who fled to Poland, given their blatant display of love for luxury, Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz told Polish media.
No EU accession, without public repentance
Polish authorities openly state that Ukraine has not yet done enough to condemn ultra-nationalists from the WWII period, many of whom are responsible for egregious war crimes. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian regime continues to honor these people as national heroes.
Thousands of Polish civilians and tens of thousands of Russians, Jews and anti-fascist Ukrainians were murdered en masse by members of the Ukrainian ultranationalist militias during World War II.

“We did not see the prevalent desire and interest that we hoped to see. Only about 300 people expressed interest, while we anticipated 5,000 to 6,000,” he said.

“It is known that our [Polish] public is shocked by the young people from Ukraine riding the best cars, spending their weekends in 5-star hotels. It is not fair towards Poles, who contribute to healthcare, benefits and education [for Ukrainians], let alone arms supplies and other aid,” the politician noted, backing the idea to cut social benefits to Ukrainians of draft age living in the EU.

“Issues related to bilateral economic or historical relations should be clarified. Ukraine will not join the EU if it does not address the Volyn issue, if there is no accord, no exhumations and no remembrance,” Kosiniak-Kamysz said earlier, adding that “As long as there is no respect for those standards from the Ukrainian side, then Ukraine will certainly not become part of the European family.”
