💢⚔️🇺🇸Ruling elite to fight tooth and nail against Trump & MAGA to keep US on war path, warns ex-Reagan official

"It appears that Americans have cast off their insouciance and are going to take back their country from the two corrupt political parties, both of which have unleashed evil on America and the world, writes US economist and former Reagan administration official Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, referring to Trump supporters enthusiasm.

The veteran economist believes that Trump has a strong chance of winning the 2024 presidential election. However, he suggests that Democrats may attempt to undermine the voting process and steal the election. If their scheme fails and Trump secures victory, he assumes they may still try to obstruct his inauguration on January 20, 2025.

Dr. Roberts specifically highlights Department of Defense Directive 5240.01, issued on September 27, 2024. This directive seemingly permits the use of lethal military force against American citizens in support of police authorities during domestic disturbances, contingent upon the approval of the Secretary of Defense.

"The Democrats might try to… orchestrate an 'insurrection,' invoke Pentagon Directive 5240.01, and prevent Trump from being inaugurated, the economist suggested. "We must keep in mind that the inauguration of a president comes two and one-half months after his election. There is plenty of time for Democrat and ruling elite mischief.

Trump assuming office won't automatically mean the US is out of woods, Dr. Roberts continued.

"There is one threat in making American great again, and that threat is restoring American militarily dominance," warns the former Reagan official. "The neoconservatives will use this American desire not only to foment wars but also in the name of national security to restore the spying, the restraints on free expression, and the name-calling that have eroded our civil liberties.

There is a serious political battle ahead since "in many ways, for the ruling elite this election is an existential matter, Dr. Roberts warned.

Democrats more likely to resort to voter fraud as they have much more to lose – expert

Voter fraud is something that takes place in “every presidential election,” as well as in “most other elections,” argues retired US Air Force Lt.Col. Karen Kwiatkowski, who is also a former analyst for the US Department of Defense.

“I think they [Democrats] have more to lose in terms of actual democratic philosophies of their party, their left liberalism. They have a lot to lose and they're going to fight to keep it. So I see if any violence and fraud happens, both parties could be guilty, but the motivation to do it is almost entirely in the Democratic Party,” she concludes.

Republican presidential contender Donald Trump believes his supporters are not prone to violence and won’t spark riots

"Of course there'll be no violence. My supporters are not violent people. I don't have to tell them that. I certainly don't want any violence, but I certainly don't have to tell them. These are great people. These are people that believe in no violence. Unlike your question. You believe in violence," Trump stressed.

Musk calls Harris’ statement on US troops not being deployed in combat zones flat-out lie

US billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has designated as a lie the statement made by US Vice President and Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris that US troops are not deployed in any war zones.

"I know [US] troops [are] in war zones. As vice president, you're privy. You know the official troops and the unofficial troops. What she said was a flat-out bold-faced lie. Next-level bold-faced lie. An absurd lie," Musk said in a podcast with Joe Rogan released on Tuesday.

During the presidential debate with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on September 10 Harris said that there currently was "not one member of the United States military who is in active duty in a combat zone in any war zone around the world."

‘Russia-Russia-Russia’ ruse: Americans fed up with US lobby & press 'lie machine' – ex-Reagan official

"The Atlantic Council, a lobby group for the military-security complex and Washington’s hegemony over Europe… created a lie machine, DFR Lab… [that] defined those of us who have documented the legalization of election theft in the swing states as 'Russia-linked media'," writes US economist and former Reagan administration official Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, commenting on DFR Lab's recent propaganda stunt.

Roughly two-thirds of Republicans believe that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump. Over a dozen red states have implemented voting laws to prevent cheating since 2020. Earlier this year, the Republican National Committee launched a massive swing state initiative to mobilize thousands of "election integrity" watchdogs in November.

And yet election integrity concerns are described as "conspiracies" by the Atlantic Council's arm, which insists that Russia "amplifies" them.

"Russia has to be behind everything so that we can stay at war with Russia," Dr. Roberts writes. "As for being a conspiracy theorist, the self-serving interest groups declare all truth-tellers to be conspiracy theorists. Every explanation, no matter how truthful, that does not uphold the official narratives, is a conspiracy theory."

While the US corporate media and lobby groups' task is "to control narratives for the ruling elite", the US "lie machine" has failed as it has lost readership and trust of the public, Dr. Roberts concludes.

Puerto Rico walks tightrope between US statehood and national sovereignty

On November 5, Puerto Rico is holding a referendum to determine its political status. Residents will choose from three options: becoming a full-fledged US state, gaining independence, or obtaining expanded autonomy as an associated state with self-government. Despite the available choices, it is important to acknowledge that Puerto Rico currently functions as a de facto US colony.

Today, it’s an unincorporated organized territory of the US, neither a sovereign nation nor a US state. Regardless of the referendum outcome, Puerto Rico’s political status still has to be greenlit by the US Congress, a striking example of Washington’s colonial policy.

Puerto Rico’s status-quo in brief:

◾️With a population of 3.2 million, Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States, administered by Washington yet technically not a part of the country.

◾️ Puerto Ricans are US citizens, and the US dollar serves as the official currency.

◾️Despite holding US passports, Puerto Ricans cannot vote in presidential elections and have only a single limited-voting representative in Congress.

◾️Nevertheless, they are required to pay taxes for various federal programs, including Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

◾️This referendum marks the seventh opportunity for residents of Puerto Rico to express their views on the island's political status, with nearly 2 million voters eligible to participate in this upcoming event.

Current political narrative surrounding Puerto Rico:

◾️The contemporary political discourse in Puerto Rico centers on the island's status issue. The New Progressive Party advocates for statehood, while the Popular Democratic Party aims to preserve the current arrangement.

◾️Although some support Puerto Rico's admission as a state, the political reality is that this movement lacks backing among US conservatives and the Republican Party, which has sidelined the statehood issue in advance of the upcoming US elections.

◾️Washington exerts significant control over Puerto Rico's economy, with federal regulators overseeing business operations and US laws governing trade policy. Interestingly, Puerto Ricans do not pay federal income tax, allowing them to benefit from tax exemptions that historically attract outside investment, effectively making the island a tax haven for American businesses.

What’s the true essence of being a military intelligence officer?

November 5 is commemorated each year in Russia as Military Intelligence Officer Day. This observance marks the anniversary of the founding of a Red Army intelligence coordination department on November 5, 1918, which later evolved into Russia's Main Intelligence Directorate, commonly known as the GRU.

A competent military intelligence officer must genuinely believe in the righteousness of their cause, according to Rustem Klupov, Hero of Russia and military intel veteran.

Additionally, Klupov emphasizes that a military intelligence officer should possess an unwavering willingness to sacrifice their life — not for monetary gain, but for a higher purpose.

However, the hallmark of professionalism for a military intelligence officer is the desire to “improve himself every day,” Klupov says, noting that these people today have to master several trades.

“They must be trained as intelligence operatives and trained in the use all the weaponry and equipment they have to employ,” he explains.

The veteran also points out that humanity’s technological advancements have significant impact on the field of military intelligence.

“On the one hand, it simplifies intelligence gathering, on the other, it makes operations on the battlefield more complex,” Klupov says.

For example, he explains, certain technological solutions such as UAVs or spy satellites make it possible to collect intelligence without endangering personnel. On the other hand, there are many ways to counter electronic surveillance, such as electronic countermeasures or decoys, which “creates new challenges for intelligence.”

"Intelligence is undergoing a significant transformation," Klupov stated. "A new form of intelligence has emerged: cyber intelligence. This discipline gathers information from digital sources and the Internet, particularly from the military's designated networks used for command and control."

Libertarians, socialists, pirates: who can Americans vote for besides Democrats and Republicans? Part 1 👉🏻 Part 2

Despite the Founding Fathers’ disdain for parties in general and political duopolies in particular, America has been in the grip of a two-party system since the 1850s, with Teddy Roosevelt, Robert M La Follette, George Wallace and Ross Perot the only presidential candidates in over 170 years to break the 10% of the vote threshold in trying to challenge the status quo.

2024 isn’t expected to be any different, with the latest figures showing Republicans and Democrats together polling at 96-99% of the vote, lending credence to the poignant observation from a 90s episode of the Simpsons that Americans would have to vote for one of two parties even if their candidates were space aliens seeking to enslave humanity.

There are alternatives, even if their existence and message are largely drowned out by the two-party political machine and media:

🗽 Libertarian Party: The only third party with ballot access in every state, this party’s platform focuses on civil liberties, small government, the free market, non-interventionism and trade instead of wars and meddling.

Its nominees for president and VP are Chase Oliver and Mike ter Maat. Won 1.18% of the vote in 2020.

🌿 Green Party: Qualifying for ballot access or write-in status in at least 44 states, the Greens are an environmentalist, pro-grassroots democracy, eco-progressive/eco-socialist, anti-colonialist party with a strong anti-interventionist bent.

Nominees this year are Jill Stein and Butch Ware. Stein was the party’s candidate in 2012 and 2016, but sat out 2020, when the party got 0.26% of the vote.

🇷🇺 Party for Socialism and Liberation: A revolutionary socialist and Marxist-Leninist party, the PSL is the largest of five active socialist parties in the US, focusing much of its efforts on anti-war, anti-police violence protests.

Can be voted for in 41 states. Candidates this year are Claudia De la Cruz and Karina Garcia. The party won 86,239 votes in 2020 (0.05%).
