So far, he has secured 248 electoral votes.

In contrast, Kamala Harris is leading in California, Connecticut, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Hawaii with a total of 214 electoral votes.

It is unlikely that Kamala Harris, who was “anointed” to take Joe Biden’s place after he dropped out of the presidential race, would have ever been elected in the primary.

“She's not a very compelling candidate. She doesn't come across as somebody with particularly high intellect or great leadership qualities or really much of a message that will, you know, mobilize people on her behalf,” he noted.

Accordingly, a lot of young people who might form part of the Democratic Party base are “not enthusiastic” about Harris and are “not turning out” to vote.
